Williamsburg, Outdoor World , Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find but the sign says Thousand Trails not Outdoor World.

Warm friendly hosts. Quite a few "resort" park models and seasonal campers. They will try to hook you up with a camground time share/membership. Family friendly park with plenty of amenities. I would stay there again. We camped at Williamsburg, Outdoor World in a Motorhome.

Cascade Campground, Loudon, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is larger than it appears from the road. The owners are very helpful and co operative. There are a lot of locals who have permanent sites in this facility. We were allowed to recieve additional quests without additional cost. We picked a full hook up site and didn't use any of the parks facilities other than a clean well supplied outhouse.

I would definately stay at this park again. We camped at Cascade Campground in a Motorhome.

Lost River Valley Campground, North Woodstock, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The ownership sticks like glue to their policies no matter what emergency event may occur. Their 14 days advanced notice of cancellation policy means you will pay for every day that you reserved, even if you have a roadside emergency and call24 hours in advance. Your loss is their gain.

Plan to pay Big $bucks for a guest if you have one (the park fee is for two adults only) extra guest(s) are not allowed to drive their vehicle into the park to your site. No discounts for guests arriving after 6pm.

The area is convenient to local attractions but there is no cell phone reception or wifi.

The park is quiet, family friendly and the facilities are adequate. We camped at Lost River Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

No wifi service available.

Eat at Peg's in N Woodstock for breakfast or lunch if you enjoy a casual atmosphere. Good prices and good food but, if your looking for a finer dining experience you'll find one at the Woodstock Inn / Brewery.

The closest grocery store is in Lincoln. Small but well stocked. Walmart is 25 miles away.

NH laws don't allow you to bring your own firewood so you will have to purchase wood. Average is $4 a bundle
