Indian Springs Campground, North Bend, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I would have given the park 5 stars for cleanliness; however, we used their paddle boats that they advertise is available to residents, and they were filthy. We had to walk back up to the office to get a broom in order to brush off the leaves, dirt, cobwebs, and spiders, before using them. We are self contained, so otherwise it was really nice. We enjoyed walking around the lake. Nice park. We camped at Indian Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

New River Junction, Blacksburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly for tubers and fishers, but suited us just fine because we typically don't use the facilities - just the hookups and later, the Dumping station. It was difficult to move a big RV around after using the dump station - just not enough turn radius. I wouldn't say the restrooms and shower were dirty...just looked like they were 100 years old - stained and rusted (looked pretty bad). But truly, not dirty. Nice staff and a beautiful location for a peaceful stop.

You are pretty far from the nearest grocery store or anywhere to eat. We camped at New River Junction in a Motorhome.

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA, Broadway, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park is nice; especially for families. Nice, but small pool, Mini golf course on property.... Good waking areas for dogs (leashed); however, we pretty much are on the run and then get back to rv, check emails from work, maybe a little TV and to bed. We were told this park has wi-fi (important for us), but not enough power to connect at all. We had a distant site the first night... Moved closer to office fit our promised site, still no WiFi, and this is likely part of the cost to stay at this park. On our second night, two of the center caps from our Hondas tires were stolen. Also, they need to bring in new rocks. It rained and we had to connect our pull behind in mud. What a mess. So, I reported it to the young girl upon leaving. She just said they have real problems getting WiFi with the mountains. I suggested that be included on their website for those campers who really need WiFi. She wasn't too concerned about the theft, but they aren't responsible. I decided to not even mention the rocks and mud. Still we loved the location and the shady sites. We camped at Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA in a Motorhome.
