Ancient Cedars Mesa Verde RV Park, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights in the three of the four cabins available on the premises. The camp has nice amenities including pools, hot tubs, showers and store. There is a dog park, but it is mostly weeds and stinging nettles. There is a 10 o'clock quiet time which includes not sitting in front of your cabin talking. If you have no children and simply want to have a place to sleep, this site is acceptable. If you want to have some fun family time and campfire activities, this is not the place. This is not a family friendly RV park. The owners are very new and inexperienced (only been in charge for 5 days). Perhaps the customer service aspect will improve with time. At the moment they seem a bit tense and testy and are rushing around assuring that water is not splashed out of the pool and that no one talks too loud. We camped at Ancient Cedars Mesa Verde RV Park in a Cabin.

Montpelier Creek KOA, Montpelier, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. There is a stream running through the camp that adds great aesthetic feel. The cabins are comfortable and the owners are awesome. We would stay at this camp again and again. It is very family friendly and has great amenities including a nice pool, pavilion, and play areas. The store is well stocked and Montpelier is nearby. In 30 years of camping this is our families favorite place to gather for reunions and just plain fun. We camped at Montpelier Creek KOA in a Cabin.
