Lake Eufaula Campground, Eufaula, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were traveling the day after Hurricane Michael and this area was hard hit. We called to reserve a spot, only to learn the campground had no power. The hosts, however, told us we were welcome to stay and use our generator. We were very comfortable and treated well. Power returned the next morning. When we stopped by the office on our way out, we were not charged a penny. The campground is not high end, but the hosts are very friendly and hospitable. We camped at Lake Eufaula Campground in a Motorhome.

Dakota Campground, Mitchell, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed here one night, but we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. The camp was comfortable and had lots of shade trees. The owner was very nice and we had everything we needed. The camp was very family-friendly and everyone was friendly and well-behaved. We would really like to stay here again. We camped at Dakota Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

What a charming campground! Staff is friendly and check-in is quick. They offer all sorts of entertainment for children - a water slide, prospecting for gems and a cute little barrel train. Every Saturday morning there is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. The park is large and shady and we were very comfortable there. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped at Camp A Way in a Motorhome.

Hillcrest Acres Campground, Bismarck, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two days over the 4th of July. A quiet place with grave drives and campsites. The sites are very close together but that was not a problem for us. We were comfortable. We camped at Hillcrest Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Roughrider Campground, Minot, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground with gravel sites. Check-in was quick and a very nice lady helped us. We had full hook-ups and a pull-through site. When we checked in the lady gave us a longer pull-through site so our motorhome and tow vehicle would fit better. We were very comfortable and would like to stay here again. We camped at Roughrider Campground in a Motorhome.

Cottonwood Inn & Suites, Glasgow, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is an RV park connected to a motel. Everything is very clean, check-in is simple and staff are very nice. RV parks generally don't have very good WiFi, but its nice and strong here. A good place to stay. We camped at Cottonwood Inn & Suites in a Motorhome.

Outback Montana RV Park and Campground, Bigfork, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

First impression wasn't good. The sign out front and the junky RV storage you have to drive through on the way in are rather unsightly. The office and campsites don't look so hot either. Rather run down and tight spots to get into. But the owner was nice and the town and surrounding area had plenty to keep us occupied. We were right across from a beautiful lake. We camped at Outback Montana RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had an electricity-only campsite with 30-amp service. The sites are beautiful - only two RV's in each alcove and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. With Banff as a backdrop, you really can't go wrong! We camped at Lake Louise Trailer Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada, Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I like full hook-ups and 50 amp service when I camp. Therefore, I wasn't wild about staying in a parking lot with neighbors squeezed up close to me on both sides. It was tolerable because I was beautiful Banff National Park and I was more interested in the beauty of my surroundings than I was my campsite. We had only electricity at our site and 30amp service. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground - Electric Hookups (Parks Canada in a Motorhome.

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We had full hook-ups and 30 amp power in Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court at Banff National Park. RV's were parked in little semi-circular pull-through on either side of a beautiful forest road. It was a perfect setting for visiting a National Park. I would love to back right now! We camped at Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I am used to full hook-ups, so I wasn't very happy with electricity only. However, I knew I was fortunate to have electricity - many campers had no services whatsoever. The National Park is so beautiful, I expect the campgrounds to be less than ideal. But I don't like camping on a parking lot, squeezed up close to other campers on both sides. But as I said previously, the beautiful Jasper National Park makes the inconveniences worthwhile. We camped at Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Okotoks Lions Sheep River Campground, Okotoks, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, quiet campground run by the local Lion's Club. Proceeds go to supporting the town, which I think is a lovely idea. The office staff is friendly and cell and TV service are good. There's a nice "home-town" feel here. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Okotoks Lions Sheep River Campground in a Motorhome.

West Glacier KOA, West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This park is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Every day we saw at least two maintenance staff members manicuring the grounds. Staff was friendly enough and the park had an ice cream parlor and a grill-type restaurant. One thing I really liked - we bought tickets for a Red Bustour and we were picked up right there at the KOA. Everything worked at our site and we had no complaints. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at West Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park, although in my opinion it is pricey. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked one feature: at your convenience you can order a pizza (which is very good) in the office and tell them what time you want it delivered to your campsite. That was a very nice perk. One thing I did not like - their internet and phone service is nonexistent unless you are a Verizon customer. We also had no TV service. We could not cook out because the wind was so bad, we were afraid we would start a fire. Other than those inconveniences, the campground was good. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Century II Campground & RV Park, Salmon, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I stayed here two nights when passing through. We loved it! Our site overlooked the Salmon River and we were surrounded by mountains. Very pretty and peaceful. The owner was a little quirky, but we enjoyed his dry wit. The campground is not modern and glitzy, but that adds to its charm. We would gladly stay here again. We camped at Century II Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
