Eagle View RV Resort, Fort Mcdowell, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

I wouldn't call this a Resort, it is a very large car park, no trees for shade and just concrete all around (it was over 95 degrees when we were there) no tables or fire pits, girl in office not very friendly. It said continental breakfast but it was coffee and a donut, do they know what a continental breakfast is?? Pool and hot tub were o.k. but lots of flies in it, don't think it had been cleaned for a few days. WiFi wouldn't work at our camper only in the office. Only 2 showers and toilets for the whole site, I know the big campers don't use them but I had to queue and although they were very nicely tiled the shower wasn't very powerful. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Scottsdale Old Town is a great place to visit, lunch in 'The Grapevine' was good. A cruise on Saguaro Lake is a lovely way to see the area and wildlife.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 3 nights, laundry facilities goods, showers clean but a bit dated. Girls in office very helpful and pleasant. Coffee and Muffins provided every morning which was a nice touch.

Someone had let their dog foul in our site but the maintenance man came and cleared it up when I reported it (irresponsible dog owner!). Went to Butterfields steak house in town don't bother no atmosphere and expensive! We camped at OK RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a Safeway in town but up a side street. Good spot to go to Petrified Forest, Painted Desert and Canyon de Cheilly, which is brilliant and free!! Don't bother with Window Rock, very disappointing.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice greeting from girl in office, good shop. Sites were a good size and well paved, but no shade, showers were pristine. Only stayed 1 night. Meals were offered in the evening but didn't try them, would have if we had stayed longer. Bit noisy from the aircraft going over head but liked watching them. Would stay here again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 2 nights at Los Suenos whilst visiting Santa Fe. Nice greeting from girl in office, very helpful, maintenance man leant us a ladder as had a problem with our trailer. Los Suenos is off the main road but our pitch was at the bottom of the site so no noise from the road. Pitch was a decent size with table and fire pit and shaded by trees. Shower block was clean and so was the pool which was nice. We caught the bus into town which was cheap and very convenient. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Summerlan RV Park, Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on the way to Santa Fe, the lady who greeted us was very pleasant. Shower block was very run down and not very clean. The campsite was just a gravel area, very near the I-25 so very noisy, the area around the campsite was just run down buildings, not much of a view. Lots of permanent campers. Wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Summerlan RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
