James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park / Island Acres Section, Palisade, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

The only draw back here was road noise! But, The scenery was incredible, and we got used to the noise. Great location for day trips around Grand Junction. Espesially up to Grand Mesa.
Sites were mostly pull through, gravel. great shelters with picnic tables at most sites. We camped at James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park / Island Acres Section in a Travel Trailer.

Badlands Interior Motel & Campground, Interior, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park sets at the Interior entrance to Badlands park one mile from visitors center. Sites were mostly open with little shade. Wonderful view of mountains. Has above ground pool that was very refreshing, and an adequate C store. Sites were gravel but level. Older 30 amp service, all hook ups were functional. We stayed two nights and would stay again. We camped at Badlands Interior Motel & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Summit Lake State Park, New Castle, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We had one of the few pull-thru's. The park was well-groomed, the people were friendly, and the lake was clear and beautiful. Fun to ride our bikes! Our site was without shade, but there were other ones available in wooded areas. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Summit Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

North Bend State Park, Cairo, West Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the older River Run campground. The staff was very helpful and friendly. 30amp, fill up water tank when you enter, and dump station on way out. Sites were mostly shaded, some needed a bit of leveling. Great play area for kids. Easy access to the Rail Trail, and lots hiking, and biking paths. The signed access road (ST RT 31) is a real "NAIL BITER" with a lot of switch backs and deep ditches. We came in this way from the west. RT 16 south from ST RT 50 to Harrisville is defiantly the way to go. Much newer and wider road. We would stay again. we stayed in a travel trailer. We camped at North Bend State Park in a Travel Trailer.
