Birch Cove, Skiatook, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Has secluded lots which we need because we have a loud, aggressive sounding dog. Is less crowded then other campsites. Beautiful, lots of trees and spacious sites. We have a trailer and put up a tent for our kids. A downside is that water is not always "accessible" unless you have a 100 foot hose. We go with a full tank of water. And we had the power go out briefly once but they fixed it pretty fast. We go back time after time - it is very peaceful. We camped at Birch Cove in a Travel Trailer.

Washington Irving South COE, Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

facilities were great--showers clean and hot. Swimming was yucy because the beach was closed due to the flooding...so we swam in the "appointed" swimming area. It was a nice campground, well maintained, except we wished for more open places to play frisbee etc. There was a trail that was nice to hike and take the dogs on. We camped at Washington Irving South COE in a Travel Trailer.
