Indian Springs Resort Campground, Garrett, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Entering the campground is a bridge I would feel nervous taking a car across, much less a 40 foot fifth wheel. Staff didn't seem to care about it and only wanted to talk about payment. Site was difficult to find due to the roads and sites not marked very well. It was a pull through site that was plenty long enough but barely wide enough so we stared at the neighbors camper. The first morning between dogs barking and gunshots we didn't get to sleep in very late, 7am up and at it...this is not a campground, it is a trailer park with a few empty lots for transient campers. The people were nice but no camping etiquette. Just walk through your site with no regard. The bath house only had one toilet that was barely big enough for a child. I will never come back. We camped at Indian Springs Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN, Plymouth, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

First of all, this is not a campground. This is a park. There is no camping experience here. The roads do not accommodate big campers and every campsite is surrounded by permanent trailers. The lot itself was big enough but with all the cars parked on the road, it took me an hour to get backed into the site (I am a truck driver so i know how to back it in) and get set up. Every single night we were woke in the middle of the night by either loud music, golf carts or people yelling/laughing. The constant parade of gold carts was very annoying in the daytime also. We were on a dirt road and the dust the carts kicked up was horrible, my camper is filthy. That doesn't even include the noise, there was not one moment of peace during this visit. The good things are there are plenty of very nice amenities and activities for the kids/adults. The showers and restrooms are also very clean and kept up.

I dont normally leave reviews but I am so upset with this visit that I had to. If I would have read the reviews from other people I would have known, but I will count that up to a life lesson. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park-Plymouth, IN in a Fifth Wheel.

Heartland Woods Family RV, Stockbridge, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The more we camp at other campgrounds, the more we love this one. Other than no full hook up, we do not have a negative word for them. The sites are large and easily accessible. There are activities for the kids and we feel safe letting our kids go off by themselves. The only other negative thing for us is the motorcycles on the trails, but the campground limits their hours so the noise is only for a few hours on certain days. We camped at Heartland Woods Family RV in a Fifth Wheel.
