West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA, Loxahatchee, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We camped on a 4 night special which included 2 days of free Lion Country Safari. Great!!!! Do not break up your day for the free hot Dog, Hamburger picnic. It was plain roll and meat with drink (they ran out of Chips). It was awful. The free ice cream social was a small Carvel cup. They refused seconds to 2 little girls while the girls watched an employee eat 3. No tents allowed at RVs, small old picnic benches, Nice large cold cold pool (good for the kids), no cable, no WiFi, lots of no signs, not friendly staff, very pricey so make sure you look for the specials on their site. I would camp again on a Special only. We sure enjoyed hearing the Lions Roar at the site. We camped at West Palm Beach/Lion Country Safari KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice friendly Campground with great location ... easy in and out. Rate 10.50 for Passport America and owner says come anytime and no limit stay with POA. WiFi low but for the price I stayed an extra night. Met all our needs and had laundry room. We camped at Edgington RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ok for the 2 nights...had long term campers, lots of barking dogs and lots of dog mess in my site. Nice laundry, heated clean showers, wifi charge from a company for 3.95, passport america 2 night max, the area had higher priced RV Parks. Good price for the area and close to shopping. We camped at Windmill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Found this campground on Eleventh St behind Camanche Hotel and RV park headed off I-10 into town. We saw this one from the road. Camp host very friendly, offered a wifi coupon for free 24 hours - low signal but worked, easy in and out for a overnight stay. Can't beat the 10.00 price!! We were happy!! We camped at Circle B RV Park (formerly A & M Camper Park) in a Motorhome.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Did not stay here. Drove up and camp host very rude. We went because it was a Passport America discount, but it had too many extra charges. Said we could only use our propane for heat. Looked run down including bath. It would be just an overnight stop. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.
