Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Sites and roads are all gravel. Very nice fenced dog park. Park is located close to I-80. Get a lot of traffic noise from there. Train tracks are on the far side of the Interstate and behind some hills. Just hear the train horns from the park. Very nice people in the office and they escort you to your site and help you park. Verizon services are good here. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Motorhome.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Roads were narrow and sites were ok. Areas to walk you dog at front and back of park. Between the park and the gas station is an open field you can let your dog run but it is not fenced. Ask in the office about the fenced off leash park in town next to a Vet Clinic. WiFi was ok. Verizon services were very good. Lots of road noise from the highway behind the park. Train noise every once in a while. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Site was paved and had a nice grass strip on each side. You can wash your whole RV here if you so choose. Campground was close to I-5, but far enough away to limit the noise somewhat. Electricity, water and sewer were located near the back of the site. They have dog areas for your pets but they are not fenced. Verizon service was pretty good. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hi Valley RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were real close together. My awning almost touched the slide out of the trailer next to me. Dog Park was nice and had some shade. Streets were wide. Pool and hot tub were well used by others and looked good. WiFi was pretty good. Verizon voice and data services were good. They guide you to and into your site. Had to wait a few minutes for the person to trim a few branches on the tree at the back of the site. Electricity, water and sewer were located mid-way on the site. We camped at Hi Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Green Acres RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Park. Very well taken care of. All sites are back-in only. Park is located in an older area of town. Railroad tracks across the street. Trains at all hours of the day. Water pressure is at 80 lbs. Electric and sewer are both good. Lots of trees in the park for shade. Satellite may or may not work depending on trees in the area. Pet area is a grass lawn by the entrance to the park. Park is quiet during the night except for the occasional train coming by. Verizon phone and data were adequate. Park WiFi was ok. Slow sometimes. We camped at Green Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with walking trails and a dog park. Verizon service was mostly 3 bars 4G. Never could get the WiFi to connect. Dog park had lots of stickers in it that always got on my dogs. Water pressure was good. Electrical was good. Used the dump station a couple of times. Sites were close together and gravel. Was wide enough to park my car there. Roads were adequate but still hard to maneuver my 41 ft motor home around the corners, especially when a longer motor home was in a small site. We camped at Skyline Wilderness Park in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were very close together. Roads in the front part of the park where all the drive through sites are, are very narrow. Had to unhook my car at the office area to be able to get into my spot. Has fenced dog area that is divided in half for large and small dogs. Verizon service was very good. WiFi was kind of iffy most of the time. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Boulder Creek RV Resort, Lone Pine, California

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of shade around. Wide roads. Spots were adequate. Verizon service was sometimes iffy. Huge dog fenced dog park that was fine gravel and sand. Would sometimes see military jets from China Lake flying low level up the valley. Limited cable channels. Overall a nice park. Would stay here again. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Roads and sites are asphalt. Roads are a little narrow. Sites are kind of close together. WiFi is good. Verizon cell and wireless is sometimes spotty. Train tracks run right next to the campground and have other trains use them besides train that runs to Grand Canyon. 1 train came by at 2 am. No dog park. Path to walk dogs on is all rock. Some of it is larger lava stone. Hard for some dogs to walk on. The pet boarding facility is OK. Boarded my dogs for the day while I went to Grand Canyon. They offered to walk the dogs while they were there. The outdoor run that each kennel has the larger lava rock. One of my dogs has hip problems and can not handle big rocks when trying to walk on them. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park with wide roads in the park. Entrance road is a little narrow. Lot was level and gravel. Had cement patio with picnic table. Lots of space between sites. Dog park was a nice size. Lake Livingston/Onalaska KOA, Onalaska, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects weekly rate. Very nice park with views of Lake Livingston. Sites are wide, but concrete pads are narrow. My site, plus some others are not very level. Mine sloped from back to front. Water pressure and electric service is good. Nice dog park to let the dogs off the leash. Very clean park. There are sand burrs stickers in the grass that you have to watch out for when walking dogs and around your site. Verizon Service is 3 to 4 bars. WiFi is good. Kind of slow at night when more people are using it. Would stay here again. We camped at Lake Livingston/Onalaska KOA in a Motorhome.

Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in Site 123. The good about the site, it had a lot of shade in the afternoon. The bad about the site, the trees blocked satellite reception for my dish mounted on the forward roof of the motor home. Site was a back in site. No free WiFi. You can pay for WiFi if you choose. Verizon service was 2 to 3 bars. Interior roads were kind of narrow. There is a fenced dog area near the check in office. Water pressure was good. Nice laundry facility with 4 washers and 4 dryers. One washer and one dryer were not working during my stay. Office personnel are kind of "grumpy" when dealing with them. We camped at Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Smith / Alma RV Park, Alma, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Site A8 was narrow and close to site A7. If I had a slide out it would be real close or touching the slide out in A7. WiFi was pretty good most of the time. Verizon service was 3 bars. Nice open field next to the lake that is good for walking the dogs. Roads are narrow but passable with large rig. Some Highway noise from US 71 that runs near the park. We camped at Fort Smith / Alma RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Park. Price is for the weekly rate.
Sites are gravel, with premium sites having some grass around them. But you pay extra for this. Park is out in the country but close to the Interstate. You hear some noise from the interstate and some from the train tracks about a mile from the park. Staff is very friendly. Verizon service was adequate. Laundry room is nice, but small. Only 3 washers.
Small lake on the property to walk around.
Roads are fairly wide but some of the turns can be sharp for big units. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.
