Sinclair Lewis Campground, Sauk Centre, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great park to spend a four day weekend at! The sites are well shaded for the most part and have at least a view of the lake. This was a relaxing get away for the wife and I and some friends so we didn't explore too much. There was quite a bit of road noise right from the traffic directly behind out site, but it was bearable. Overall I would recommend this park to others. The bike trail was awesome! We camped at Sinclair Lewis Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Timber Ridge Campground & Recreation Resort, Traverse City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with ample room at sites. We utilized a pull through site and had plenty of room to park the tow vehicle either in front of or in back of the RV. On exit the radius to enter the road was fairly tight but doable without incident. There was plenty to do in the park and also in Traverse City during Cherry Festival. We tried the pedal carts but found it too hard to use in the sandy terrain. All in all I would recommend this park although a bit pricey. We camped at Timber Ridge Campground & Recreation Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Camden State Park, Marshall, Minnesota

Date of Stay: October, 2005 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Rustic campground that typifies our great state park system. This weekend was all about the kids and our hunting dogs in search of the elusive pheasant. This campground made a great basecamp for our daily hunting expeditions. Also the kids had plenty of room to play and explore. We had electric hookups and generally had a great time in this park. Would like to visit again with the wife and daughter. We camped at Camden State Park in a Travel Trailer.
