We gave this campground a try even with the so-so reviews of previous RVers. We stayed for a full week and needed a full hookup. They have pull through sites, but they are just big enough. They also now offer a "double-site" at special price. This is what we did and glad of it as sites along the back corn field are tight. Big rig and trailers will have a tough time. Too many trees. Read the other reviews, and they are pretty much "right on". OK but would look elsewhere next time in that area.

Golden Buckeye card discount makes this camping experience even better. We live near this area, but never really gave the State Park a try until this year. Wow, were we surprised and impressed. Clean..big lots (full hook up)great reservation list and site descriptions. Lots to do in this area. Canoeing, hiking, tubing in the river, fishing, and other activities outside if you want. Swimming pool was clean...not great..not deep but great for the grandkids. Lots of area to bike ride. Just a great place to visit, relax, and enjoy.

We've camped at Lake Park for the last 5 years. The Rate is right for the facility. Most sites are very nice for big rigs and trailers. A few are not very good in rain and the Rangers know which ones are and do not use these unless very full. During the week, lots are mostly open but the weekends are packed. You will need weekend reservations. The water park is awesome and is a separate cost but this the main reason we go here. Biking trails are fun: not real long but very good with kids. Hiking, Rosco village connected with the park and gives you lots to take in if you like a little history and fun. A very fun place to go. Water stations are usually no more than 100 feet away. No 50 amp service or sewer hook up. The water park, walking, bike trails over ride the facility weakness. Excellent for tents. Restrooms are at times not the best but OK for those who don't mind roughing it just a little.
