Fallon RV Park, Fallon, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park was so over run with leaves that it was hard to walk. The water is usually filled with black particles and bottled water is your best bet. Many of the long term units are in poor condition as are some of the people in them. The monthly metered spaces are $300 plus cable and electric. They recently started over charging for the electric, by marking it up 5 cents per kilowatt hour. The un-metered spaces are $450 per month. The septic system smells in the summer time and plugs up regularly. Several units have been damaged by falling tree branches due to lack of tree maintenance. The concrete drives are all cracked and broken. THis park is the most expensive in town! We camped at Fallon RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park except the spaces are a bit too close. The park has changed hands and is now called Sage Valley R.V. Park. We camped at Hub Totel RV & Mobile Home Park in a Travel Trailer.

Candy Beach Camoground (formerly The Lazy K RV Park), Lovelock, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small campground but has a charm to it. Nothing fancy but still a real nice quiet place to stay. The owners are top rate people and there is a cafe and store for convenience. Monthly rate is $300 including electric. It's a great place to locate if you want to roam around that area, lots to explore. The only market in town is Safeway but they are pretty good for shopping. We camped at Candy Beach Camoground (formerly The Lazy K RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Pahrump Station RV Park, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The new section is real nice. The phone system works thru the Motel and the service from SBC is no longer available. All calls go thru the motel board and a charge is made for each call. Lots of dust when the wind is blowing and that happens quite often. All in all a nice park except for the phone thing! We camped at Pahrump Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
