Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

The people are very friendly. The stream is a very nice place to walk your dogs. Restroom/Showers are old, but clean. WiFi and Cable TV are both excellent. The park is nothing fancy but I liked it and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a beautiful campground. Very green and a nice play to walk the dogs. It would take some cleaning up and modernization. No cable TV and very few channels with amplified antenna. Too many full time residents for my liking. I felt like I was in a trailer park or some Jeff Foxworthy routine. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a big parking lot where they put RV's. This is OK, and they do a pretty good job. The showers are clean and laid out nice. It is a pretty good trek to the train, pool, restaurant, and even the office. They provide a shuttle service. Camping in a parking lot with loud train whistles throughout the night is not really my cup of tea. I don't know if I would stay here again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Havasu RV Resort, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest RV park we have ever stayed at. The restrooms/showers are large, clean, very comfortable. The pool is very nice. The people were friendly. The WiFi was a little weak. The wind does blow, but that is not the park's fault. The place is beautiful. The only reason I did not give this park a 10, and this would qualify as a perfect park, if they has some sort of a dog walk. Such a wonderful place, but you have to take your puppies out on the road, in the gravel, to do their business. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Havasu RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Klamath's Camper Corral RV Park and Campground, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here soon after the flood. I review this park, because even after the devastation, they were very helpful in finding us a space where the cable still worked, and making sure we were ok with the fact that many things did not work or were not available. You could tell they were on the fast track to bringing their park back to the way it was. I look foward to staying here in the future. We camped at Klamath's Camper Corral RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I don't review all the parks we stay at, but I feel this one is special in its own way. It's not big or new, and there seems to be a lot of full time residents. I really don't like that, but here it just didn't seem to matter. The owners were helpful, friendly, and down to earth people. The welcome basket was just something that made me smile. Nice restuarant nearby. I felt comfortable, like I was camping in my backyard. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

Midway RV Park at Coos Bay, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

As previously mentioned, this park is a little out of the way, but it is worth it. It is very clean and top notch. I would have rated it a 10, but it is almost too perfect. The owners take a lot of pride in their park and they should be proud. We camped at Midway RV Park at Coos Bay in a Motorhome.

Kingman KOA, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stop on a 3 week trek in our motorhome through Arizona, California, and Oregon, staying in a different park every night. This place is not fancy or new, but the people were very friendly, restrooms clean, space level but kind of small, and a nice place for pets. When we travel, we make a point to try to stay at the nicer campgrounds. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Kingman KOA in a Motorhome.

Cape Kiwanda RV Resort, Pacific City, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The campground spaces were a little tight, sterile looking, and kind of industrial park feeling. With that being said, this place is a wonderful place to stay. The views are stunning. The beach, the restuarants nearby, the pool, the store, and the walk on the beach are all top notch. I would highly recommend this place to visit. A lot of people seem to know about it because we were here in what I think would be an off season, but it was very busy. Make reservations, its worth it. We camped at Cape Kiwanda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

River Bend Resort, Forestville, California

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We phoned ahead because we would be coming in late to verify the park had a space available. The lady was very nice and said she would leave a note on the door to tell us the particulars. We pulled in to our campground space and there was no way to get the motorhome level and I was not sure if I would trust plugging in to the busted electrical outlet. There were other campers in the park but none of them seemed to be occupied. We went to the restrooms and found them to be boarded up and then busted open so people could attempt to use them. After making phone calls to find another park, and locating one at 8:00 PM, we were on our way out. A lady stopped us on the way out and we told her it was just too dirty for us to stay here. She apologized that after the recent flood, it has been difficult to clean up. I understand this, but it had been two or three weeks after the flood and this place was absolutely filthy. We camped at River Bend Resort in a Motorhome.

Bodega Bay RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We phoned the owners of this RV Park later in the evening after leaving another park because of the filth. They were very helpful in getting us a space and helping us find there park in the fog. The owner was very helpful and I appreciate it after leaving our previous park in absolute disgust. I feel they try hard to provide a safe and clean park here. The restrooms and park were older but clean. I would have given them a 10 if not for the gravel pad on the sidehill which could be improved upon. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.
