Amana Colonies RV Park, Amana, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice open park with mowed grass (no weeds like many parks). Management was great. Close to town of Amana and activities. Great WIFI at our spot. We will stay here again. Very big rig friendly. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Covert Park Beach and Campground, Covert, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a little known park. You can walk to the beach at Lake Michigan which is 100 yards away. Very nice sandy beach. People bid on the park to run it. Sites are okay for a more rustic stay. Value was good because of access to lake which is not dog friendly. We would stay here again, maybe for a week. If you rent a site access to beach is included otherwise people without RV's pay $7 a day for beach access. Lots of people stay in tents. We camped at Covert Park Beach and Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Chemung Outdoor Resort, Howell, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of snow birds here with park models. Rental spots are scattered among park models. Roads are paved and sites are concrete with grass. Lots of amenities to include indoor pool, miniature golf and because of snow birds they have lots of nightly events. Thought price was a little high but we had no discounts and stayed only two nights so did not make use of weekly or monthly rates. We would stay here again. Bathrooms were fully tiled and easy to get to. We camped at Lake Chemung Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Anderson / Muncie KOA, Anderson, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level pull through site but a little close to neighbors. Workcampers that checks us in were great. Well maintained park and they spray for bugs. Little overpriced for what they offer but we had no discounts. We stayed as a stop over but could have spent a week here. Nice walking trails which river nearby. We camped at Anderson / Muncie KOA in a Motorhome.

Tomahawk Campground, Pocahontas, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night as a stop over. The park is fine for one night. We had a pull though in the shade. Lots of long term trailers parked here. No wifi and electric service went out for two hours which might not be the parks fault. If it rained there would have been a lot of mud. Management did not answer phone put walked to office when they noticed us pull in. They parked us away from the long term campers. Dump station easy to get to. We camped at Tomahawk Campground in a Motorhome.
