Monument RV Resort, Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Medium size park located across the street from James Robb Colorado River State Park in Fruita CO. We stayed one week here. Very quiet & clean park. Has small pool & hot tub. The owner is very nice & accommodating. Paved roads with gravel sites. FHU were available & the ones on the side had lots of shade trees. Sites were adequate in size, some back ins, some pull throughs. There were several long term residents but most were in the back or sides of park. Pull through sites were mostly transients. There is a lot to do in this area including the CO National Monument. Fruita is a cute little town & is within walking or biking distance from park. Grand Junction is close by & has a cool downtown area. We will definitely return here. We camped at Monument RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Newport / Little Diamond Lake KOA, Newport, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Beautiful park which is half owned or managed by KOA. We were there as a Thousand Trails member so we were limited to those sites. We liked everything about the park except there is no sewer at the sites. There are 2 dump stations. Also if you need 50 amps don't plan on that as there was only about 10 of those. Rest were all 30 amps. But when we were there is was mild so we didn't need to use our AC. The pool & hot tub are nice and there is a small lake on the property. We stayed a week in our fifth wheel and most of the sites have shade and good spacing in between. We camped at Newport / Little Diamond Lake KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Grayland Beach State Park, Grayland, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very private, shaded large sites with hiking path to beach. Large park but well layed out into cul-de-sacs. Absolutely would go there again to get away. Not much to do nearby but the park & beach were enough for us. We camped at Grayland Beach State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eagle Tree RV Park, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Online photos showed shaded spacious sites but those were only being utilized by permanent RV residents. The pull thru sites were long and narrow with no room to sit outside or even open our awning. Slides almost touched the neighboring RV on both sides. The back end of our fifth wheel was so close to the road coming into the park it felt like we would get hit. So glad we only stayed 4 nights & it was cool while we were there so we didn't need to use ac. Laundromat was clean. Nothing much to do in Poulsbo either. We camped at Eagle Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
