Service Park Campground COE, Coffeeville, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This Corps of Engineering park is great. Camping sites are directly on the river so we were able to sit at our campsite and watch the barges and boat traffic. A boat launch area is onsite and a fishing area is available. Park attendants were very friendly and helpful. The only problem with the park, like most all COE campgrounds, sites are electric and water only with no sewer hookup, although the dump station is close and very accessible. We camped at Service Park Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Holiday Campground, Ochlockonee Bay, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We had a waterfront site near the entrance, close to the highway but was not really bothered by the traffic noise. Beautiful water view right next to the fishing pier. There were several cars coming in and out in a vacant site near us to go fishing during the night which was somewhat distracting. The dirt sites with very little gravel and not completely level could stand some upkeep, although not too bad. Unfortunately it rained a lot both days we were there so the dirt site was pretty messy. Staff was friendly and there is a wonderful restaurant just across the street (Angelo's Seafood). Most of the back sites seem to be "permanent" residents in older campers that need some upkeep. Overall we were very satisfied and would definitely return. We camped at Holiday Campground in a Motorhome.

A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina), Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $98.00
Overall Rating:

New name is A&M Perdido Resort, LLC. Spent the weekend in the RV resort and certainly enjoyed the park after we found it. They haven't changed the sign and didn't mention the old/new name when I made reservations so we drove past it and had to call back for directions. Beautiful location right on the intercostal waterway. Boat dock rental and fishing available on-sight. Close to restaurants and other activities. We had a waterfront lot with a great view of the boats, barges traveling the waterway, docks, etc. Park was clean with concrete roads and level gravel lots. The lots were somewhat small and close together for the premium cost. Wi-Fi was very weak/practically non-existent most of the time. I recommend the resort (especially the waterfront sites)and would stay again, but hope they make some improvements to the Wi-Fi. We camped at A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina) in a Motorhome.
