Phoenix RV Park, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night. We were given a pull through site with nice grass and Patio area and the picnic table. The hookups for easy to get to and worked well. It is located right in town so maneuvering a big rig around the area is a little bit tight. However the roads inside the park were way wide enough and easy to navigate. We camped at Phoenix RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yakima River RV Park, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights. I think it is the best park in the area. It is a very clean park with grass and trees around you. We chose a site with the full hookups. It was $3 a night more but well worth it. We originally were only going to stay two nights but could not find another decent park near where we were going. I would highly recommend this park if you are anywhere near this area. There is a train track but never were bothered by loud noise. Whistle seemed to stop at night. Sites are fairly close but the way they are situated works well. Would definitely pick this park if in the area again. We camped at Yakima River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ellensburg is a very nice town. Lots of good restaurants and if you are into cars and old signage you must go to the Red Horse Cafe. Other things of interest is wine tasting and of course the annual Labor Day Rodeo is fantastic

Coeur D'Alene RV Resort, Post Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 25 years ago. Really enjoyed it then. But now mostly full-timers or seasonal people living there. Sites. very close to each other very tight turns for 40 ft motorhome. The entrance barely accommodated my motorhome with my satellite almost touching the beams. Cars and trucks were parked in all the other stalls not even rvers. Will never return to this park to stay again. We camped at Coeur D'Alene RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bonner County Fairgrounds, Sandpoint, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest RV parks in a fairgrounds that we have stayed at. The sites and roads are all paved with grass at the sides 50 amp power and ample fresh water. We also have a picnic table. Our side was open to a view to the west of a mountain range with beautiful trees. The park has some shady sites throughout but our big rig had to go in a more open site. I would absolutely stay here again. AT&T mobile service was good and the Wi-Fi service work well for us. We are near many restaurants and stores and within a few miles of the beach at the lake. We camped at Bonner County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Trout Creek Motel and RV Park, Trout Creek, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

What a great little Park. We had a huge pull through site 138 ft long wow. We had sewer electrical and water. We had a 30 amp site which was sufficient to run one of our air conditioners and met all our needs. It was a nice grassy site with trees all around us. Funny thing is we still got satellite on our roof top of our motorhome. Only negative was that we could not have a charcoal BBQ because of fire restrictions in the area but that is well understood. This is one of the nicest RV parks we've happened to come across on this trip. I would highly recommend staying here anytime. You should try and make reservations if it all possible because it is not a very large part. We camped at Trout Creek Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort), Challis, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We came here because we have Passport America. They are very very large sites but there is nothing around the sights. It is like a large parking area with gravel and power water and Sewer. We could not hook up our sewer however due to the strange configuration of the pipes. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Fallen Leaf Campground, South Lake Tahoe, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Been coming here since 1983. So beautiful. The long level sites are difficult to get. You have to know the park and make reservations 6 months in advance to get a good site. Website tells you the slope and provides a picture. This year it was so much better. No check-in hassles and very friendly helpful staff. In past years it was run like a Nazi camp. Hosts are there to help not hassle. There are no hookups, and water is far and few. Generator hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. So if you can live with those problems you will love the park. The road into the park is terrible, as others have said. Restrooms were super clean and pay showers are available throughout the park. Trash cans close by and Bear proof. Bears do frequently come around but don't bother you if you use steel bear keepers. We camped at Fallen Leaf Campground in a Motorhome.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here mid week. Site seemed great at first but sand gravel mix just got into everything. Would prefer asphalt or concrete for sure. Our site was too near the road highway 1 and road noise in morning was loud. Ran a fan all night long to dampen noise. The good thing about this park it is close to downtown Pismo with many things to do. It is not really on the ocean as lakes block your direct walk to the beach. It is about a 10 minute walk to actually get on the beach. If we stayed here again I would bring a big tarp to cover sand gravel area and request a site off the highway at least 5 sites in. Onsite restaurant is good. We had breakfast there. Good little store. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Went here for two nights. Got a premium site. It was a pull in site for motorhomes. Nice concrete site with patio and bbq. Grass and landscaping with a great view. No one near us. Just perfect. We have stayed here before but finally chose a premium site on the cliff. Well worth the extra money for sure. We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Westside Regional Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have been going to this park ever since we bought our 40-foot motorhome. We like it for the fact that you can choose a side right on the bay at Bodega if you reserve far enough in advance. The site is about 62 to 65 feet long so there's enough room for my motorhome and the toad behind it. We really enjoy the all asphalt parking and nice interior roads. Is very close to some of the best places to eat in the entire area. We camped at Westside Regional Park in a Motorhome.

Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park, Bodega Bay, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times in the past. It has different managers than last time but they are really great. We reserved the last site available in the park. There was ample room for motorhome and our towed vehicle. They are so friendly and tried to see if there's another spot that I might like better but none were available. Site was super level which is very important for our motorhome would highly recommend this if in the area. Close to everything. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $86.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here since the 2nd year the park opened. Same park owners, we were told, but new management this year. We come during Hot August Nights and my son also comes. We have had sites side by side for 7 years. This year they split us up by over a city block long distance. We asked why and they said something about a long term camper. They made no attempt to get us together and told us if we didn't like it don't come back. After talking to the arrogant park manager that was extremely rude we felt even worse. I believe the manager and staff are not too smart and no idea how run a RV park. We will never be back. The sites have AstroTurf at all sites. Your sewer connector is in your neighbor's area. Bad design. Power is good. WiFi terrible when park is full. Water pressure high, so you need a regulator. Pool is nice and clean and open until midnight, which is nice in summer. Jacuzzi is nice but don't use jets unless you want water splashed up behind your back. 3 dinky dog runs spread way apart. Very convenient area too bad it is run poorly now. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here not knowing about NO DOGS allowed at the resort anywhere. Kept our dogs concealed inside our coach which was a terrible experience for them . Only stayed 1 night and will never return again. Sites are close and turns tight for a big rig. Much better options for us in the area. Beach was close and nice but super crowded. We stay here every year for about 3 total weeks on and off. We just love the area and consider it home away from home in summer. So pretty looking to west with view of Sierra's. Sites all have lawn and asphalt for parking rigs. Full hook ups with cable and good wi fi. Access to pool and Jacuzzis as well as exercise gym in adjoining hotel. Security patrols area and we have never had any negative activity in the park. We camped at Carson Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.
