Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground, friendly staff we were escorted to site by owner and he made sure we were happy with site and offered any assistance we may need. We had an easy pull thru site with full hook up, cable TV and great WIFI. The sites are level, gravel and plenty of room to park our truck. We camped in a 39' 5th wheel. Would definitely come back if we were in this area. The views of the mountains from the campground is fantastic. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park (Fruita Section), Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park very well laid out and very easy to get into sites. We had a pull through site with full hook up. The pads are concrete and asphalt leading into the concrete. There is a covered picnic table along with fire ring all in a gravel area off the concrete pad. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The view of the National Monument from the park is fabulous. Wished we lived closer so we could come back on a regular basis. The only negative is no WIFI or cable TV, however, phone signal was good so we could use our hot spot. We camped at James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park (Fruita Section) in a Fifth Wheel.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This was a park where it appeared there are quite a few of permanent residents, it did not create any problem other than the appearance of the park was not well maintained. We had a full hook up with cable TV and the WIFI was slow. The sites were very close together and you heard the neighbors A/C or heater running during the night. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff and helpful in getting to our site. We had a pull through full hook up site and everything was good. Site was level and had no problem getting in and out of site. The only negative about the site was the WIFI was not strong and had to go down to office area to get a strong signal. We camped at Butte KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Great town if you are interested in mining history. Was a very big copper mining town back in the early 1900's and there is lots to see. It is also the home of Montana Tech.

Overall Rating:

Friendly staff and well maintained park. Had a back in site with full hookup and 50 amp service and had plenty of room to get into site. WIFI was very good and had no problems with hooking up to all services. This park is right at the border of Yellowstone and is a very busy park but it is well monitored and not any distractions. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Buffalo KOA , Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great experience at this park. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, had a pull through full hook up 50 amp site which was level and easy to get into. WIFI was very good most of the time with the exception at nighttime when park was full it was then still ok just a little slow. We stayed here at extra 3 days to rest up as my wife fell and broke her collarbone, park was very quiet and peaceful. Town of Buffalo is small and does not have much to offer but it was enough to take care of our needs while we rested. We camped at Buffalo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

American Heritage Campground, Olympia, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This looked like an old KOA campground and at one time was probably a very nice park. It now has some permanent residents and the facilities are just OK. The pull through sites were grass and fairly level, we had poor WIFI coverage but it was much better in the Game Room at the office. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed at this location for 4 nites as we visited the Seattle and Olympia area. We camped at American Heritage Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Olympia is a convenient place to stay if you want to visit many of the sites in Seattle and Pugent Sound. The only problem is traffic is very congested on Int 5 especially in the morning and late afternoon.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park, paved streets and all sites were level as well as paved. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a pull-through site which was easy to get in and out of, with dedicated space to park our truck. The town of Troutdale is a nice little town and easy to walk to from campground. Cable TV was good and the Wi-Fi was OK. Definitely would stay here again when traveling in this area. We stayed here for 5 nights as we visited many sites in this area. Very nice park, large spaces paved roads and sites. The town of Eugene is just 2 miles away and it was very easy to access the park. Very strict on checking in and checking out times. The WIFI is just OK works best early in the morning. The park is very quiet and would definitely come back if we are in this area. We stayed here for 5 nights. Overall Rating:

Stayed in this park for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting into our pull through site. The sites are all gravel very level and had no problems hooking up to all the services, we were in a full hook up site. There are many trees in the campground and the sites are large enoug h so you are not on top of each other. The campground was easy to get into and had no problem maneuvering within the campground with our 39' fifth wheel. We camped at Indian Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Scheffel's Hideaway Campground, Two Rivers, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in as we are traveling the country. The sites are large and easy to get into. We had a pull through spot and had no difficulties with our 39' fifth wheel. When we arrived the owner guided us to our spot and made sure everything was in order and we were satisfied before leaving. When traveling in this area again we will definitely stay at Scheffel's. Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff and they spent extra time with us telling us all the different places to see and where to eat. The park has gravel sites all very level and were spaced appropriately and easy to get into. All the amenities were working and had no issues. We are thinking about coming back in a year or two and spending more time in Door county and we will definitely stay at Bailey's Grove. We camped at Baileys Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

St Clair--Thousand Trails , St Clair, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park was not as expected based on their website. At one time the place was probably very nice but it has gone down hill. Many pot holes in the road, sites are gravel/grass and many had low spots causing to have standing water when it rains. The park was not very well maintained, the staff was friendly when checking in, however, when we asked about other amenities like exercise room, etc that were advertised we found out they no longer are available. We had full hookup, however, there was no WiFi and the TV coverage was very limited. Would not stay here again. We camped at St Clair--Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.
