Woodring Campground COE, Oakman, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Rate based on senior pass. The park was a steep climb to get to but we had a beautiful site with a gorgeous view once we got there. We had a huge, private deck, great shade and lake view. As mentioned in another review, the bathhouse was a hike, but was walk-able from our site (1), the furthest site away. The showers only had tepid water. The dump station was placed with the bathhouse instead of at the exit. For sites 1 and 2, built as afterthoughts, the dump is only accessible by driving to the exit, making a careful u-turn, driving all the way back through the park, circling back to the dump station and then making the drive to finally exit, again. We only stayed 2 nights, so it wasn't an issue, but it would be a pain to use the dump from either of those 2 sites. Quite a few of the sites could be difficult maneuvering into, as well. In our opinion, the setting didn't make up for the other deficiencies and resulted in the "5" rating. We camped at Woodring Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Breckenridge Lake RV Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

The park itself has fairly nice sites, good shade, decently sized, but the bathrooms were only cleaned once during our 3 week stay and the wifi was a joke. When it wasn't completely unavailable, the page load errors were constant. The clubhouse was closed and being torn down, yet the paper with rules and amenities handed out at check in still listed it as a perk to enjoy with tables, puzzles and a book exchange. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Singing Hills RV Park & Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Rate based on a one month stay. We had a great site in the RV park, heavily shaded and nicely spaced apart from our neighbors. The owners were very nice and the park was quiet for the most part. Neighborhood dogs were annoying, but nothing the park could control. One drawback was no on-site laundry, the other that the park had way too much security lighting for our tastes. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Silent Valley Club (Members Only), Banning, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This was our third stay here. It has become one of our favorite places when in California. It's huge, hilly and has a variety of site types for all different tastes whether you like to be in the center of things or off by yourself. We enjoy going off season, it's quiet, friendly and has plenty of space for walks. The wifi worked well from any of the sites we have tried. We enjoy the variety of birds, the squirrels and the occasional deer. We camped at Silent Valley Club (Members Only) in a Fifth Wheel.
