Roadrunner RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

2nd stay for us this year. Cable was not very good and the WiFi was very weak. It's grown in popularity since we were here in April..which is probably why WiFi so bad. Very clean, neat, and well organized. Very friendly checkin. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA. Dump station is in an awkward place, you must go against posted traffic direction. Nice shady sites. Pizza delivered to site, right on time. Delicious. We camped at Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Devils Tower KOA, Devils Tower, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Its all about the location here. Super friendly check in staff of workampers. Easy to navigate wide gravel roads, no pot holes. Our site was spacious and level and plenty of space between us and our neighbors. We even had apple trees on our site and were encouraged to help ourselves. Showers are great, as is the bathroom and laundry (newly remodeled). Tomatoes planted purposefully at showerhouse and you are welcome to pick as you need. The view of the tower is remarkable and you have to hike the trails. The red beds are breathtaking and abundant wildlife in and around the campground. The local buffalo "Bella" is a real hoot..she poses for photographers. Camp store is beautiful and the restaurant is great! We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Cute little park, well manicured and neatly organized. However, sites are so close together, we literally had 3 inches from our awning to the neighbors slide out. Too, too tight. When departure day came around, staff came knocking on our coach door at 10:40 to remind us that check out was 11:00. When we said ok, he said very rudely, YOU BETTER BE OUT BY 11:00. Plenty of other places in the area to stay in that aren't rude and this tightly packed in. Save the headache and drive down to another cg where customers are king. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly on the phone, very friendly office staff at check in. Park is in a great location for sightseeing. New campground and alot of detail has gone into this park. Construction still going on for new facilities. Easy on/off the highway, great signage (our GPS was confused though). We had a standard sized lot, gravel, no shade. Fire ring and picnic table on our site. Cable offered, and fantastic hispeed internet. Laundry facilities absolutely spotless. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping, Chadron, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Ok for an overnight. Great location for us. Easy on/off the Highway. Good signage, very friendly office staff. Sewer hookup was recessed pretty deep so an overnight hookup was not possible and awkward to dump in the morning. Very quiet road noise, shady, gravel pad. Excellent wifi but no cable. Would stay again if it was just an overnight. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Conveniently located adjacent to I-80, easy pulloff and get back on the interstate. Extremely helpful and friendly check in. Highway noise was not an issue as we were pretty tired from our long day of travel. The park is older, but well maintained, the roads and sites are gravel but they are pretty smooth, not many holes. The cable is more than adequate, as is the wifi. As the evening progressed the park began to fill up. We will definitely use this park again if in the area. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Salina KOA, Salina, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Cute KOA near the interstate. Roads easy to navigate, lots of shade, great wifi and plenty of cable options. We opted for a paved pad for a few bucks more, glad we did, still a little muddy in some spots from a big storm a few days ago. Super friendly staff, well marked directional roads. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great location, adjacent to I10, but with that you have to deal with the noise from the interstate. But, once inside you can't really hear it with the a/c on. Cute, gated, well maintained and extremely friendly (Miss Pat) in the office. No breakers on the pedestal, so you are plugging in hot, as you are unplugging...also it's a bit low and we weren't able to use our surge protector. Great wifi though!!! We camped at Pioneer Acadian Village Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a great find! Owners were extremely welcoming on a busy night (Easter week). Park is new but well organized and efficient. WiFi was great, hookups were fab, and the white bunnies hopping around were a pleasure to watch. If you are on the road and need to stop...this is the place.
