Hickory Run State Park, White Haven, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Rustic & woodsy, more our preference. Beautiful PK. Stayed mid week with few campers. Campsite had full amenities except for cable & wifi. Direct TV & Verizon recep. good. We were relegated to RV area for canine owners. Site good, backed up to route 534 with little to no traffic noise (woods between road and site).

Slight negative was signage, difficulty locating site. We camped at Hickory Run State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

PK is 6.2 mi total from Exit 274, off I-80 onto Route 534( follow PK signs) . 17% grade on 534 ( 2 Truck Gas Staions at Exit if need to disconnect tow ). Entrance to PK is NOT at Camp Office( PK Entrance is 2 mi on RIGHT past PK Office). Locating Park entrance was confusing.

Poor Farmer's RV Sales, Service & Campground, Fletcher, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty basic, clean quiet. The thing that put this over the top was the fantastic service on our RV. We did a complete 10,000 mile checkup and they took care of some electrical issues. I was a little concerned since we were off the beaten path sort of. But the knowledge of the mechanics and willingness to explain what they were doing made me feel very comfortable with their work. I would stay here again. The park was very spacious and getting around was very easy you really had a feeling you were out in the country and not squeezed into some tight spaces. We camped at Poor Farmer's RV Sales, Service & Campground in a Motorhome.

Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground, Iron River, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The physical facilities were very good. What made this an outstanding visit were the staff!!! Without question the people were the nicest, most cordial and cooperative I have encountered in my RVing life. The day after we left, I could not find my iPad. I thought I had thrown in out with a bunch of newspapers at the RV park. I called them and they got in the trash container to look for it. That In my opinion is above and beyond the call of duty AND they, as Big 10 Badger fans knew I was a Buckeye. I will go out of my way to see this young couple and their great lakeside wooded quiet resort. We camped at Top O' The Morn Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
