Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park, Moncton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean campground. The people running it were very accommodating. We were on a motorcycle, so we had concerns about the dirt/gravel roads in the tent area, but even before we asked, they were thinking about making sure we had a tent site that we could access. Laundry facilities on the grounds and wi-fi were very helpful to us. Plus, the ducks added charm to the place! We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Tent.

Jeremys Bay Campground (Parks Canada), Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very disappointed! The price for a tent site is exorbitant...$42.90 for one night, plus, in order to get into the campground, you have to pay to enter the National Park too! So for two people to camp in a tent, we had to pay $62!!! We did it because we were led to believe that we would be able to see the Northern Lights from there, but when we arrived, one of the staff members told us that you really couldn't see the Lights. For the price of this site, you would think it would be cream-of-the-crop, but there was trash all over our site when we arrived, and the whole site was gravel so our tent stakes wouldn't even go into the ground! The bathrooms were clean enough as far as camp bathrooms go. As for the park, it was totally worth the day entrance fee...an excellent park, just be sure to camp elsewhere!

Admin note: Campground fees for the above tent site with electric are published as $29.40 a night and entrance fee for two people an additional $11.60 for a total of $41.00 CAD We camped at Jeremys Bay Campground (Parks Canada) in a Tent.
