Sicamous KOA, Sicamous, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The Sicamous KOA is a very nice campground. it is a bit tight for larger units. We travel in a 40' coach so we need to book early to be sure to get an adequate site. We hit a homer at this KOA. We were assigned the nicest site in the place. It had a beautiful brick patio with deck table, chairs and umbrella. It was fabulous. We loved our site. The campground is quaint. The sites are level and there was some amazing tenting sites. Wifi was available but not strong. Staff was great. It is a bit out of town so you are somewhat isolated. It's right on the highway but well buffered by trees so road noise is not a major issue. Some of the landscaping could use a little TLC, but otherwise it was very nice. I would recommend and return. We camped at Sicamous KOA in a Motorhome.

Kimberley Riverside Campground, Kimberley, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large campground. We stayed down at the bottom in the Riverside section. The site was OK but not over the top. Reasonably level. Infrastructure is showing some wear and the place needs a little TLC. No wifi at the sites. The rivers were closed to fishing while we were there, but the access to the river is great. The staff was wonderful. I would go back if I was visiting the area, but it's not the nicest campground I have stayed at. We camped at Kimberley Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Mount Fernie Provincial Park, Fernie, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful campground. Nice level sites. Private and surrounded by trees. Paved roads and not too tight for larger rigs. Entry road is a bit rough. Close to town and other activities. Highly recommended! We camped at Mount Fernie Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
