Sands RV and Golf Resort (55+ Park), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Our first time here, top notch all the way. Tall vegetation between sites. All with concrete pad. Clean paved streets lined with Palm Trees, many with lights. This is the most dog friendly park and most friendly campers too.

They have live music and free beer and wine on Wednesdays next to the pool. Who does that nowadays????????.

There is also a nice 9 hole golf course on premise.

The dog parks have lawns and palm trees. We camped at Sands RV and Golf Resort (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

A fellow was trimming a shrub next to our space when we arrived. The entire property was well maintained.

Great views, close to golf and good quit street for biking.

Spacious spaces and clean. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Golf magazine rated the Moab golf course the best new course in 2002.

My wife and I really enjoyed it. We took lots of pictures.

It is 3 miles from the RV park.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This place is the most jammed we have ever experienced. Campers, tents, just 3 feet apart. Did not have septic hook ups on our site. Employees very into visiting with other employees and not providing service. In the eating area two were discussing bad customers they had to deal with. We paid for 3 nites but only stayed two. The facility is very hilly. The town is nice but pick a different RV Park. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are RV parks closer or in town that were nicer and more convenient to services.
