Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park, Mt Pleasant, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very overpriced. There is a very nice pool at the hotel that you can use (have to drive or take shuttle there) but little else about this park is nice.

Sites are paved, but narrow. Our site had a patch of dirt where previous seasonals had placed paving blocks to add small patio.

Easy to maneuver in park, and clean. There is a small lake there for fishing.

We had constant problems with low voltage at the park cutting out our surge protector. Took several complaints to get maintenance to come (office told me the maintenance guy had a bad attitude and might not come - and he didn't that day). They were unable to fix so we left early. Were told we would get a refund on last night but they didn't execute that. We camped at Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Petoskey RV Resort, Bay Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Have been camping since 1997, this was the nicest campground I ever stayed at. Lots of amenities with no extra charges (fantastic club house, pool, fitness room, billiards room, putting green). Primarily retirees but everyone friendly. Don't pay extra for the better lots, they are all about the same in my mind. A little more road noise in the lowest cost lots. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort in a Motorhome.
