Campground near I-20, but freeway/interstate noise is tolerable. Spaces are close. Most campers were living there, working the oil/gas fields. Yes - the few yards from the frontage road to the RV park entry is full of potholes, but it's a short distance (just drive SLOW). Hosts were very nice and helpful.

Nice little place. Very nice hosts. Grounds were very well maintained. Sites were gravel and level with cement strips and grass between sites, offering you privacy. Very quiet area a little south of town. Lots to do in this little town of Llano. Lots of history and nice folks.

Our RV group had a small rally here. We chose to park in the trees, so weekly rate was higher ($258), which we felt was a bit pricey. Site was gravel and level. They offer NO discounts on weekly rates. Our space was easy to get in and out of, even with our tow attached. Close in to town and all the activities that Fredericksburg offers.

Just camped here one night passing through. It's about four miles East of Ft. Stockton - kinda out by itself. We had a good, level site (#56). We didn't hear much freeway/interstate noise. This time of year, not much going on here, but it was safe.

Front desk lady was very polite. Clean restrooms, showers, laundry area, and even a kitchen area next to the rec room (you MIGHT get Wi-Fi in the rec room). Cable not available at the time we were there. There were probably less than a dozen people camping there when we were there; most of those appeared to be 'living' there. Originally, this RV park was built to house construction crew for the new power plant. Now that the power plant is established, the park is open to the public. It's next to a train track and usually the trains quit running before midnight. They had not maintained the grounds, but on the day that we left, they were mowing the tall grass/weeds - which made it look a lot better. It served our purpose for staying in Riesel and visiting family. Alert - staying during a rainy season is not a good idea; your coach WILL sink in the mud.

We just stayed here overnight. It's easy to get to and easy to maneuver around. We were given a HUGE site so we didn't have to unhook our tow. And our site had it's own decorated 'picnic' area. The Llano River was VERY low, so it wasn't impressive. Plenty of space between campsites to afford you privacy. No railroad tracks, no airplanes overhead and no street noise. Nice little place. The hosts were absolutely WONDERFUL people.

Nice Nice Nice place. Although when we were there, there were a lot of stored RV's taking spaces up, but we were there during off season, so there was still plenty of room. $25 rate was based on a weekly rate. Close enough to Corpus Christi that we drove back-and-forth two days sightseeing there also. Great laundry facilities. Nice large cement pads with grass between the sites. We enjoyed our stay here.

We requested a pull-thru and were given site #63. We attempted to 'level out', but to no avail. So they said we could move to #62-61 or 60. HA HA HA NONE of these pull-throughs were level. Even the person next to us had his front wheels completely up off the ground. So we were not satisfied with the pull-through sites. Also - the campground is in the airport flight area. You WILL hear airplanes (but not near a railroad track). :)

We have stayed here during summer months for several years for our family reunions that are held nearby. It's been a good, secure, clean place to stay. Laundry facilities were good, clean, adequate. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Very little traffic noise from the Lovington highway (never did keep us awake).

Nice place to stay. We were able to get a 'lake view' around Pelican Loop, on the NE corner of their whole campground. Some I-25 traffic noise, but not bad at all. We really enjoyed the various birds, mink, deer (unfortunately lots of moths), but we would stay here again. We camped in a 42 ft with four slides and had a cement pad, covered picnic table, electric only site, and the site was level. Great place.

Friendly staff. Good BBQ meals on-site you can purchase. Our site was level and had shade trees. It was a 'little' tight getting out due to being FULL. We parked in the southern part of the park for one night so that we didn't have to unhook our tow. Easy access to I-25, although a little bit of road construction made the North bound turn onto I-25 a bit challenging.

We had a beautiful site in the tall pine trees, although 'unlevel'. Once more campers arrived in our area (it's a LARGE campground), we had to back out of our "pull through" site because of other campers vehicles parked partly in the roads. Since it is such a large campground, there were LOTS of people; lots of fires in the firepits in the evening/night and lots of smoke; making the evenings/nights very unpleasant because of all the smoke. We would only stay here again during 'off season'. First night was higher priced because it was a 'weekend'. Following nights were about $58: still pretty pricey, but it has lots of "family" amenities.

Great place to stay in the middle of town. We had a long pull through for our diesel pusher across the west backside of the RV park. Plenty of room. Great staff.

Okay place to stay over one night. Most of the "pot holes" mentioned in an earlier review have been filled with gravel. Park was pretty clean. Many full timers, it seemed. Spaces were a little tight for our 65' total length with toad and four slides (we only put out two). This park is a very short distance North of I-70, so you get a little traffic noise, but we still got a good nights sleep and felt safe. Of course it was 105 degrees when we stopped at 7pm, so our air conditioner was running a lot. Yes - we would stay there again just overnight.

They are everything they say they are. Level sites, clean-clean-clean campsites, nice decorative night-light poles, wide and long spaces. We had plenty of room for our 42' plus our toad, making a total of about 65' - so that we did not have to unhook our toad. Half a block from Hwy 54, but it was very quiet in our space #41. Rates are dependent on needs. We did not need cable, so rate was only $19. Can't beat that.
