Hat Creek Hereford Ranch RV Park & Campground, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Any first impressions or negative remarks are only to be constructive. At check in I found the clerk to be friendly & courteous. Arriving at my site (94) I felt it was very close to my neighbors. Although backing in my trailer was not that difficult I had to position my trailer so I could fit my awning between two trees (no room for adjustments). The hookups were a little difficult. The sewer hookup was at the back & easy to connect. The electric & water were at the front and had to use my extra water hose and all of my electric cord. There was no table at my site and the fire pit had been dismantled. I dragged the table from the empty site next to me and rebuilt the rock fire pit. Workers walked right into my campsite and walked right by me looking for the table never saying a word to me. I thought this was rude. I was thinking I had made a mistake camping here. But the campers were very nice and watchful of my grand kids riding their bikes. Invited us to watch them paraglide at a nearby glider spot. No more negative incidents. I enjoyed the rest of our stay. Very family safe place not hard on the eyes. I will camp there again. We camped at Hat Creek Hereford Ranch RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Emerald Forest Cabins & RV, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of trees. Site 93 was a spacious pull thru, clean and relaxing. Play area for the kids. Highway 101 was a little close to our site but noise was tolerable. Nearest garbage was a little far but seen this before. I would stay again but want to try nearby parks next time. We camped at Emerald Forest Cabins & RV in a Travel Trailer.
