Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

A nice, big park with easy access from I - 40. The manager was very nice, hookups all fine. They have 2 nice fenced grass dog walks, too. Although we didn't utilize it, they have a free limo shuttle service to the Big Texan Steak Ranch restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed at. Spotlessly clean, nice oversized pull through, and a nightly barbeque and ice cream social in the summer. The laundry room was clean, and there is a beautiful fountain, person-sized chess set, playground and pool. The dog run is oversized, and there are horseshoe pits, too. The store is well stocked, too. Overall a VERY nice park, and on Route 66! Will stay again! We camped at USA RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is nice but the spaces are very small. We had a pull through that we ended up having to back out of because of the trees and the people across the street's car. Also the manager was sort of rude to my husband, accusing him of not paying attention during the briefing and parking on the grass. He did move our truck, but it was due to the smallness of the space. This park seems to cater to long term residents, and didn't seem to like the short termers much. We won't be back. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Boise / Meridian KOA, Meridian, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we've stayed at this KOA. It's a really nice park, very well maintained. Both times we've stayed were overnights. The only issue I have with this park is that there was a long term resident with children in the corner lot by the playground and the dog walk. I have no problem with kids at all, but they had toys and just lots of stuff blocking the sidewalk to the dog walk, and I had a difficult time accessing it. No biggie, really, just annoying. We camped at Boise / Meridian KOA in a Travel Trailer.
