Minneapolis Southwest KOA, Jordan, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The first time we ever had anything to do with a KOA was because our truck broke down and the one we went to was ridiculously expensive. Then came across this one that was close to family we wanted to visit and loved it. Price wasn't bad the people were friendly and had something to do and entertain everyone. The restrooms and showers were very clean. Had table and fire area. Just nice and comfortable. We camped at Minneapolis Southwest KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Masonic West River Park, Hutchinson, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have now stayed here 4 times. They improved it by letting you rent a space online, not first come first serve...we hated not knowing if we could get a place. This is almost like staying in the country. You wake up to see the geese and the ducks and if on the river hearing the waves hit on a windy day. Beautiful peaceful spot. There are full service and electric only. All are very nice. If their business keeps up they'll have to enlarge their shower area's.\ We camped at Masonic West River Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Traveling thru Wisc. and saw Trutle Lake had a campground and we were ready for a rest. Pulled into the campsite of our choosing. Had water, sewer, and elect. so were very happy. Went to the swimming pool and the only one there at first. The pool was nice and being from a resort who took care of a pool this one was v. good and the showers were very clean and felt good. This was a good experience. Even had tree for shade. We camped at Turtle Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Eagle Ridge RV Park, Eagleville, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were on our way to family get together and needed a campground to stay at. Brought our tents and what a co-incidence it was similar to name of resort our grandmother worked at. Lady at campground was very nice and gave us lots of info to go on. Hoping our grandparents can make it here to stay yet this year. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Tent.

Lake Bemidji State Park, Bemidji, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The Parks Campground personnel were very nice. Our truck had broken down and were lucky to find a good campsite to park for the weekend. One night there were tornado warnings and the campground host came and let everyone know that if we heard a car horn blowing head to shelter. Luckily we didn't have to. The grounds were kept very clean even after a large wedding party left. Lots to do and they rent bikes and different things. Even though we were broke down for a few days - we had a excellent time and want to return. We camped at Lake Bemidji State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Baker Park Reserve (Three Rivers Parks), Maple Plaine, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The Bathrooms and shower rooms were kept very clean and showers were great...the area to do dishes was a nice addition... the area to park your car in, without being on grass was very small..and gravel pad for trailer uneven. Too bad other campers can be such pigs and leave such a mess..saw where the caretakers had a lot of clean up. We camped at Baker Park Reserve (Three Rivers Parks) in a Travel Trailer.

Red River State Recreation Campground, East Grand Forks, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Second year we have been here and really enjoyed our stay. First time was hard to find, but asking a few people greatly helped. We had a pull through site, with a picnic table and a fire ring. We were close to showers so I used them and they were very clean. They have a blacktop path to walk or ride bikes on around campground and town. We enjoyed the large grass area and not getting eaten up by mosquitos. The stores, shopping areas and restaurants are excellent nearby, and easy walking distance or drive with plenty of parking. The employee's were helpful. We camped at Red River State Recreation Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Shops are close by. Walk the paved trail along the river and around. Plenty to do or take it easy and relax. Our sites have always been quiet. Bring stuff along for the family to play in the large grassy areas.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 5 days. Great area. in town with out of town setting. Shops, restaurants, every thing you need within walking distance. Lots of beautiful paved trails to walk or ride bike along river and around area. We loved this park. We had pull thru site with elect., sewer and water hookup. Large grassy area by sites for kids and parents to play catch, badminton or to sit and enjoy. Next time we will have bikes to bring along to ride all the trails; walked them, but could go so much further on bike. We really liked this area. Itasca State Park, Park Rapids, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

When we drove in to get a site my husband was sick and the lady at office was very helpful. we got a site right next to the bathrooms. I am not usually the one to back into site and a very nice gentleman came out and helped me back it in. The area is beautiful and well worth a stay...want to go back and stay longer.

There is fishing, hiking, biking, there is an area for swimming. Great area to go to also for peace and quiet.

Be ready to enjoy taking hikes on their beautiful trails and bring a bike if you have one; otherwise, up the road is a place to rent one. Love this campground, well taken care of, plenty for all to do or sit back and listen to the quiet. The road back is even pretty. We camped at Itasca State Park in a Travel Trailer.
