Rivers Bend Campground, New Haven, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

If you're and nature lover and looking for piece of God's country this is it! The river is beautiful, we watched osprey and eagles, herons and ducks, fly fishing, tubing, kayaking all right from our campsite.

Sites are right on the river, large, level, grassy and well maintained with water and electric. The grounds are beautifully landscaped.

The owners are welcoming, helpful and care that all campers are respectful of their neighbors and enjoy their peace and quiet.

Visitors are welcome, but if your looking to have a party this isn't that kind of place and that's what I loved about it, quiet and friendly.

Lots of places to visit and things to see, wonderful place to call home while you enjoy day trips. We camped at Rivers Bend Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Recompence Shore Campground, Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful view of the ocean, wonderful place to set and soak up the salt air. The prime sites book ahead of time so if you're dropping in for a night don't expect to be on the water.

Great place for families and day tripping.

We were disappointed with the respect of a few other campers feeling free to walk through our site which was right next to visitor parking.

No electric or water hook ups which is worth the trade off for the view, however other campers washing their dishes at the water faucet and leaving food and gray water wasn't cool! We camped at Recompence Shore Campground in a Travel Trailer.
