Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

It is a nice place with excellent hookups. We especially liked the winterized water hook ups. People were nice and friendly. The manager put our site on the board on the porch as he knew we would be arriving when he was running an errand. When he returned, we settled up. No over the air channels. We didn't try to set up any cable. Wifi was shaky. Verizon signal was just ok. Park was quiet with very little road noise. Very convenient to exit. We would stay here again when passing through. He does a very active overnight business. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Leeds RV Park & Motel, Leeds, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park was predominately filled by long term residents. It had several sites for overnight. The park looked like it could use some updating. Laundry facilities were being updated while we were there. We were right by the WiFi antenna and got good reception. There was good cable TV provided. The park was graveled, dusty, with a concrete pad on site. Most of the sites had plenty of shade. It was satisfactory for a quick stop over in Zion National Park, which was 40 miles away. It was close to St. George without the traffic of St. George. We camped at Leeds RV Park & Motel in a Motorhome.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a the large pull through that could accommodate very large rigs (80 feet plus) with tow. They were terraced up a hillside, gravel, and very level. Several people were leaving the day we arrived after being there for several months. The sites down the hill were shaded and ample size as well. The park provided community grill site with heat units, two hot tubs, and a nice pool area. A small convenience store was on site. Wi Fi was being worked on when we were there. This park is 1/4 mile from the Visitor Center of Mesa Verde. The two towns on either side provide nice places to eat and shop. The park sits on a busy road and road noise can be heard, although it did not hinder our activities. This park was very clean. We will return. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was helpful and very responsive to issues. WiFi was great, after a few on and off days of which the staff was communicative. The park is very quiet and clean. There is a residential area that is different from the pull through for people going in and out. There is a pool and hot tub that was being used. The office has a small store for supplies. There is a car wash on the premises. The site was on asphalt and level. We stayed multiple days. The park is convenient to I-15, I-80, and downtown Salt Lake City. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We did not have power, sewer, or water. The dump station and water were convenient. The site was very spacious and beautiful. The generator hours were from 8am. to 10 pm. The campsite was quiet. The site was on gravel. The picnic table and fire ring were behind the parking spot. There was a moose family hanging around the campground. We would return any time. We camped at Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Highline Trail RV Park, Boulder, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The check in was great, the camp host was helpful. The site, at this time of the year, was spacious and on gravel. They were level. I specify this time of the year, when busy, they put two on each space in opposite directions. The hook ups were a great distance from what was needed and we had to use an extension on our electric cord. We would go back and explore the area more. WiFi was poor. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in a 34 foot RV across the road in the secondary pull though space. The site was shaded. Check in was confusing. You had to go into the Barbecue place to check in. We did not try the food, but it smelled good. Our neighbor had taken over our picnic table for his Dish Tailgater. We requested a new picnic table, but never received it. The site was clean. WiFi was poor. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kearney RV Park and Campground, Kearney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

They have two campground areas, one on grass, one on gravel. Although the concrete pads were new, the hookups were not in the correct location for most motor homes. Our site was littered with cigarette butts. There was no shade. The gravel was uneven. The area was very dusty. We did not use the facilities. WiFi was OK. We stayed one night and would not stay here again. For the cost, this was not a good value. We camped at Kearney RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Kellogg RV Park, Kellogg, Iowa

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This was a convenient off of I-80. You must drive through the Phillips 66 gas station. They advertise they make the best burgers. We did not have any though. The sites were graveled, and very close together. Although other sites had shade, this one did not. Picnic table was on the neighbor's sewer hook up. The road to the site was gravel with chuck holes. For an overnight stop it was just satisfactory. WiFi was poor. We camped at Kellogg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Last Resort Campground, Hanna, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in a 34 foot motor home. We were in a pull through site close to the office. It had poured and the gravel site was wet and soggy. We turned down the first site for being flooded. WiFi was OK. The entrance road switched suddenly from paved to gravel with many potholes, bushes and shrubs needed to be trimmed. Although it was on I-30 we were not disturbed by the sounds. It was very convenient but over priced for a campground that needs to be updated. We camped at Last Resort Campground in a Motorhome.
