The Woodlands RV Park, Wellington, Kansas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Hookups approx 8" from back/middle of site. Hookups for vehicle in front approx 2' from front side of my rv. If anyone tried to park and open their slides we would have bumped each other. Wifi worked well, water pressure great. If you are just passing through and need a place to sleep, this will do. You get what you pay for. We camped at The Woodlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Best Western Hensley's RV Park, El Reno, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We made reservations a week in advance. Fifty miles out we called and confirmed we still had a reservation. Upon arrival we were told the person in our site had decided to extend, and our 36' 5th wheel with slides on both sides would not fit in the sites anyhow. Park was full of long term oil workers. We camped at Best Western Hensley's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely not the best KOA I have ever stayed in. Site was graveled with loose sand, up hill, tilting "a lot" to the left. Never had problems pulling 36' 5th wheel into a parking place before. Kept burying the right 2 back truck tires, had to use a shovel and long boards to get all the way in. We travel past here 2X a year, will not stay again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Bustertown RV Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great cable/wi-fi, water pressure. Pine trees surround all sites. Long pull throughs. Quiet park, majority seemed to be permanent residents. Be careful where you park after a good rain, sites are covered by pine needles and mud underneath can be very deep. Our truck sank almost up to the axle when we started to pull in. We camped at Bustertown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Texarkana RV Park & Event Center, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

New park. Great bath house, large showers. Sites need more gravel. Ankle deep in mud after hard rain. Small concrete pads useless due to where they were placed. Would have given a 9 if we hadn't arrived during the rainy season. We camped at Texarkana RV Park & Event Center in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunflower Resort (55+ park), Surprise, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Many residents call this place Party Central. THE place to be. During the busy season Jan - Mar, the Tiki bar is open for business starting at 12 noon, and the drinks stop at 8:00 pm. Bands, and other musical entertainment are supplied Mon - Fri. Every one seems to have an excellent time, and when they have one of their many "theme" nights, the fun atmosphere is over the top. The young "under 55" managers were very friendly, visible, and accessible to the guests. The numerous clubs, and sports available are more than adequate. If I had any complaints, it would be the long term sites all seem to be back-in, on large gravel lots. My living room faced the back side of the M/H behind me, so we kept the curtains closed. This not withstanding, I loved this placed! We camped at Sunflower Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park was kept in excellent shape in large part due to owner personally landscaping, and hands on. Large pull-thru sites, graveled drives and grassy areas at each site. Fairly quiet, considering the train track and busy hwy nearby. Just a couple of children seen apparently due to no pool, playground, etc. Nice change for us older folks on vacation. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cave City seems to close up early, along with their small grocery store and is lacking in very many non-fastfood restaurants. However, Glasgow is approximately 8 miles away and is a nice sized town with lots of stores, restaurants and other conveniences.
