Lazy River At Granville, Granville, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground if you are traveling with kids, which we weren't. There is alot to do and keep kids entertained. The camp sites were a bit close to one another but they were reasonably level and it was a pull through site. We were visiting family in the area so we didn't spend too much time in the park but when we were there it was quiet and pleasant. We had to wear little paper bracelets to identify ourselves as registered campers and I found that annoying, felt like a hospital patient! We have stayed there in the past and would stay there again. We camped at Lazy River At Granville in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhorn Campground, Frankfort, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We spent several nights in this campground on our way to the east coast and because we enjoyed it so much, we spent two nights there on our way back. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the setting is lovely. There were a lot of campers there and I was concerned about the noise level but it was very quiet. The bathrooms are maybe the nicest I've seen. We didn't have full hookups, only electric and water, and the wifi was pretty weak but we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again plus we really enjoyed visiting the distilleries! We camped at Elkhorn Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Outback RV Park, Eddyville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were just passing through and this is primarily a seasonal campground. However, they have nice, level, pull through sites with FHU's for overnighters. The staff, owners I think, were very nice and helpful and the park was very quiet and clean. We didn't use any of the facilities so I can't comment on them. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bean Pot Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I was surprised by the state of the campground as it had received good reviews and the staff was pleasant. There were what looked to be seasonal sites with RV's that were in poor states of repair. Several were covered in blue tarps and there were folks working on the park model RV across from our site. The park seemed worn and in need of updating - our picnic table was filled with splinters and needed paint. I don't think I would stay there again. We camped at Bean Pot Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Philadelphia / West Chester KOA, Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely campground in a beautiful setting. The staff were so very helpful and accommodating. It was a bit tricky to get to but as we stayed there for 5 days, we eventually figured it out. It was a great location for visiting Longwood Gardens and The Brandywine Musuem. We spent time in both Wilmington and Philadelphia and it was a good location for that, too. My only complaint is that it is too expensive but it was the most conveniently located for our needs. We camped at Philadelphia / West Chester KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our brief stay in this campground. The sites are spacious and the campground is not too large. We only spent one night but were very comfortable. It was a warm day and the site was comfortably shaded. The campground was clean and in excellent repair. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
