Camp Chautauqua, Stow, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Best, and only, campground on Lake Chautauqua, but no actually sites other than one token site on the lake shore itself. Great amenities and a lot for children to do, plus planned activities. Staff tries hard to meet needs, but seems overwhelmed. Lower rating because they call it "family camping". Kids must be watched, lots of drinking and racing golf carts. DO NOT STAY in sites 68-78 for this reason. Permanent residents have a bar onsite and a lot of late night partying, smell of weed, and noise. Site was also wet and mushy. We camped at Camp Chautauqua in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pay the extra money for the nicer camp sites. Check out the weekly/daily activities at the camp store or you might miss out on some fun stuff- they don't always tell you about them when you check in.

Railside RV Ranch, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park to stay in while visiting Williams or the Grand Canyon. Very nice level sights. The staff was friendly and offered us the choice of the best locations. The breakfast provided a good start to our day and offered a wide selection of items. Free shuttle service was provided to the train or downtown. Pet walking was available for those gone for the entire day free of charge. Also, the hot tub capped off a perfect stay. We camped at Railside RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very clean, with flat spots. The price was very good with no added on or hidden fees. It was easy to access, close to I-40, but had little traffic noise. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The camp store was limited, but the goods sold were very reasonable in price. This place is more than just "Ok", it's a great value for stopovers or visits to the petrified forest. We will stop again if we are in the area. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.
