Lake Eufaula State Park, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We went with no reservations, arrived Tuesday before Memorial weekend and stayed through memorial weekend plus additional week. Got the last available RV site. Best site in the entire campground. Lucky! #95A huge site. One neighbor behind us. None of the sites has water view or water access. Security constantly around. Severe Thunderstorm warning and security parked right near us, said if the storm got worse they would come through announcing where to go. Storm shelter on site. Great stay minus unattended dogs in next site who barked entire time. Talked to rangers, they talked to owners but to no avail. Over all would ask for this site again. We camped at Lake Eufaula State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coronado Village, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived during balloon festival, pricey but worth it. We were 1 mile as crow flies from balloon festival. We were able to get a site with 1 day notice! This is a mobile home park, which made for spacious lots, and family activities. Great club house, nice pool table, pool, volleyball, play ground, and basketball court. We had full access to all the park had to offer. WiFi was purchase so we opted out of that. Could see balloons and fireworks from site. 9 miles from Old town but all highway. If staying here during festival be prepared for high delays on highway and arguing with cops about needing to go onto Pan American Highway when balloon festival is trying to park. You get a traffic permit but still have to argue with cops. Only way into park is through their detours. Awake at 6:00 AM because of helicopters above balloon festival. I would stay again, staff very helpful and friendly. We camped at Coronado Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Play a game of pool in the club house excellent table and space to play. Take the tram. Try to see a Indian food fest, great dancing, food, and history, just don't clap after dancing it is a religious dance.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We were able to get a pull-through site for our 32' 5th wheel 1 day notice. Service at the counter was very quick at check in and very friendly. Had a flat before arriving and they were able to give us 3 names of tire companies within miles from the park. They have a limo service if you want to eat at the famous steak house in Amarillo. The site was level gravel, trees at most sites and a picnic table. Only stayed one night. Donuts and coffee free each morning 8-9:30 am. Close and easy on & off hwy. Would stay again. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Creek Mobilodge, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We made last minute reservation over phone, the owner was very nice. We stayed 5 days with a 32 foot 5th wheel. Management checked in with us several times to make sure we were comfortable. We arrived on a Friday night the weekend of the October feast, was a little noisy first night but all other nights were quite. This places has mostly permanent trailers that are rented nightly or monthly, many are people who live here permanently. Plenty of room between trailers but tight trying to get parked, doable but if you're not good at parking your trailer don't try here. If you are larger than 32 feet I wouldn't recommend it. Bring a smaller trailer it's worth it to stay here. Has the oak Creek creek 100 feet from trailers with a cement patio and tables overlooking it and stair access for going down to it. A little beach area and several areas to fish for trout. Permission was given to pan for gold if we wanted to. Gravel site was level, WiFi was great. Recommend highly. Thanks Oak Creek. We camped at Oak Creek Mobilodge in a Fifth Wheel.
