Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We are in loop C with desert behind us and a beautiful view of Lake Powell in front of us. The sites are large with level paved pads. We have a picnic table, fire pit, and a charcoal grill. Showers are down the hill and cost $2. The pool is at the lodge about 1/4 mile away. We swam at the larger pool with hot tub and pool bar--just like a resort pool! The free internet works fine. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

What a find in the middle of no where! This is a new campground with large level sites. The bathrooms are just like at home with potty and shower in one room. Pool is very nice. The owners are incredible. We pulled in and hooked up, played in the pool and showered. The weather started to change and a huge hail storm came through breaking a vent, we made a split second decision to leave and head west away from the storms. Next morning my husband called, and the manager offered to refund our money! I will stay here again when passing through Amarillo. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA, Sugarloaf Key, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

We spent New Year's Eve here and we had a blast. This may not be for everyone! Every site plus a few empty spaces were full. Motorhomes were packed in like sardines. The amenities were great. A beach, marina, pool, bar, live band, water trampoline, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Yes, it is very expensive but this is a high rent district. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA in a Motorhome.
