Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, Crystal River, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here on Memorial Day weekend. There were not that many facilities to accommodate that size of a park. The grounds were kept up very nice but the staff was extremely rude. The following is why they did not get a higher rating. When contacting them by phone and then actually talking with them when we checked in, there was one lady in particular that was and still is downright mean and acts as if you are wasting her time. We expected to be able to swim in the lake but were greeted with a "Beware of Alligator" sign when we got there. It would have been nice to have had that information before choosing the campground. We camped at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Hillsborough River State Park, Thonotosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here a number of times and would highly recommend this park. It has big, beautiful, shady sites and staff is friendly. There is a big pool to swim in, canoing, and hiking trails. There is a tour of Ft. Foster across the street. The only downside is the pool has an additional fee per day to swim. We camped at Hillsborough River State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This park is top notch! Clean, shady campsites with concrete pads as well as a sandy area if you are a tent camper. Restrooms were immaculate! They have a great campfire program with Chip and Dale and a Disney movie each night. Game room, pools and beach activities. There is too much to mention! I would definitely put this park on your place to stay! We will definitely be back and are planning a trip this year. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Tent Trailer.
