Forest Lake Camping Ground Inc., Winchester, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing to do. Was pretty rundown, overpriced and unsightly. Lots were very close and sunny. Site surface was dirt. Would not recommend it.

It has a gate that opens for anyone, but you need a code to get out? Most of the permanant trailers are run down covered in moss and mold. No cable tv unless you want cable tv to install it for $110.00. Police were in and out most nights. We camped at Forest Lake Camping Ground Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Construction noise all day long. Piles of debris stacked all over. Nothing was open yet they charge full price $800 a month Tons of Ferrell cats running around along with 100's of Canadian geese and ducks. Watch where you walk! They don't allow golf carts only rent them $50.00 a day. This isn't a resort more like the owner is greedy. Have my rv for sale was quickly told to take the sign in the window down "not allowed" No handicap access. We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We made reservations months ago but do to breaking down hurricane Matthew we were late they would not honor the reservation for six month stay asked for an end unit was told they don't reserve a particular site. When we got here they didn't have handicapped sites so asked for end site we were told they were reserved! But you said during reservation you didn't reserve?... They put us in the middle and later moved us a little closer but next to a chain smoker gave up. Will stay the month then move to a park with customer service. It's like a swamp even the outdoor rug is under water. They should invest and fill the worn lots. The store is closed for the season. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We made the reservation months in advance was not given the six month rate because of hurricane Matthew and breaking down. They should honor the six months so we'll stay just this month asked for a different site they had us next to a smoker ugh... The site we asked to be moved to was reserved yet when I called to make the reservation I was told they do reserve site So! Off to a bad start so we'll move to another park next month.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, paved and level. Wifi didn't work unless you were near the pavilion. Pool was added plus. We camped here to take the package deal to the canyon by train. Great experience close to historic rt66 grocery store dollar store ect. Fell asleep listening to the trains, peaceful.

Staff in reservation in rv store could have used the manners her mother taught her. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Campland On The Bay, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

By far the worst! Traveled across the U.S. Had a wonderful experience until we got to Campland on the Bay. Overpriced rundown dirt pit!

Rude staff, no Internet, packed in like sardines, on a flooded dirt lot that when it rained it washed into our space. Rats galore. Staff is aware and does nothing. Ant and fly infested. "Free Internet" (how can nonexistent be free?) No one should come here! We camped at Campland On The Bay in a Motorhome.

Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort, El Centro, California

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Ant infested park, office told us ants are part of nature. We packed up and left had motorhome fumigated for ants.

Listed as a resort 105 degrees no shade and pool under repair, dump! Don't go here!

There is nothing to do there everything is closed up or under construction. The management was not helpful when we needed them. Parking was on orange clay and course rocks that sticks to your shoes, so you have to remove them before you enter your motorhome. We camped at Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful scenic park to relax at. Plenty of room between sites. Grassy and a welcome surprise after living in cramped gravel lots. Pets loved the shade trees. Will go again. We camped at Arkalon Park in a Travel Trailer.
