Zuni Village RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Just an overnight stay. Easy to get to, staff friendly, place looked tidy. Didn't use the facilities so I can't say on those. Easy maneuvering our 40' 5th wheel, space was more than adequate for our needs. Full hook up but no cable at our space. Will stop here again. We camped at Zuni Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't follow google directions, long left turn lane with light on Andy Devine for Airway. A bit further down Airway is WalMart, Smiths and places to eat. (Smith's fuel was cheapest when we were there)

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, convenient for visiting Santa Fe. Great location and views. Very quiet with the exception of a couple airplanes but considering we were there 8 days. They have nice long patios so there is no problem getting your door to open on to it in the terraced sights. There is some wind but given the location sitting up on a small hill it wasn't too bad while we were there.

The sites and roads are gravel, the front entry is a bit narrow so you must pay attention going through it. Do-able but you can't be sloppy. We very much enjoyed the views we were afforded by the placing of the sites. WiFi worked pretty well but had it's moments. Verizon & AT&T worked well there. They sell propane on site. The art work scattered through the park was a nice touch. Yes, we'll be back. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Most any shopping you would want/need is on Hwy 14 and that leads to downtown SF. Take lots of quarters for parking meters if you're going downtown. We have a full size pickup and found parking pretty easily in the area of Marcy & Otero and it's an easy walk from there to the shops, museums, etc.

Cadillac Ranch RV Park, Bluff, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

In our opinion the nicest one in town as the entry & RV parking area are gravel and is easy in and out. Sites are large enough for larger RVs with space to park beside. Stayed just a couple nights so didn't use any of their facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is not a big park so I'd call ahead - they were full the two nights we were there. The WiFi did not work. The cell reception was poor. Verizon cell and data was bad. AT&T had good phone but only dial up speed data. Yes I would stay again if I just needed an overnight spot. We camped at Cadillac Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cheapest fuel is in White Mesa about 14 miles north, this station would be OK to get in/out of towing. Fort Bluff was interesting history and is across the street. Valley of the Gods & Gooseneck State Park aren't too far and worth the visit.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight spot passing through the area. RR tracks and airport near by so there is noise to be considered for those sensitive. Verizon & AT&T work well here. Park is clean & tidy, garbage recepticals are scattered around the park. Menu of site types and some camper cabins, ours was water & electric only. Roads in the park are a tad narrow but we were able to get in and out ok with our 40' 5th wheel. Office staff is friendly and efficient. There is a small gift shop in the office area. Did not try the wifi. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're into historical buildings & old movie memorabilia then a visit to El Rancho Hotel is a must. We found cheapest fuel at the Phillips stations attached to the Lowe's Shop & Save.

Columbia River RV, Portland, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We found the park centrally located for our needs in the Portland area. The staff was friendly and courteous. The park is clean and fairly well thought out. The larger RVs can be a tight fit in some spaces in the back section where we were. It is on the outer barrier of the Portland Airport so it removes quiet from the environment as does some truck traffic on Marine Drive that the park backs up to. We liked the park, but...

Beware - Portland has a reputation for bicycle theft and it is alive and well in this park. During our 4 month stay we had 4 new bicycles stolen from our RV space and know of others from neighboring spaces. The park has what appears to be a fairly comprehensive video security, coupled with absolutely no gate security as to who enters the park. The management at the park was notified of the thefts and inquiries were made as to anything that the cameras may have captured. More than once we shared our observations of teen males accessing the park grounds by scaling a wide concrete wall at the back of the park that adjoins a parking lot of a Minit Mart. The office staff offered their regrets and would let us know if they saw anything on the tapes, both times. Both times, the very next day we witnessed the security cameras being worked on and nothing being done to improve the wall security and got no response as to the tape review results (good, bad, or indifferent). We camped at Columbia River RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Near by access to the Columbia River and river front restaurants. Good access to Interstate 5 and not far from the airport and I 205 freeway.

Has fenced dog areas but not any activities for kids.
