Shoreline RV Park & Campground, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I believe this is a city run RV park. Large spots, excellent WiFi, beach access. Park is nothing fancy but is well maintained, quiet and convenient to everything in this lovely small town. We heard the fog horn but it was not obnoxious and could hear the seas barking which was awesome! People in the office were very nice and easy to work with. I would stay there again. We camped at Shoreline RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground), Eureka, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced unkept Park. My husband had to cut tree branches away from our coach on our "pull through" and will have to back out of the spot because overgrown trees prevents him from pulling through. Something wrong with electric on our 50 amp, our coach kicks off on it....hate to think what would happen if we used our AC. WiFi is pretty much the slowest I've had and is mostly non-existent. Park not in the best location, hidden behind lumber store and close to nothing. Lots of permanent residents which is fine but this is a trailer park not an RV Resort. I feel ripped off paying $50.33 (after good Sam discount) for this mediocre parking spot. I would not stay here again. We camped at Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort (formerly Eureka Campground) in a Motorhome.

Alpine Country Store & RV Park, Hayden, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely park. Basic park with FHU however large parking spots, lots of trees and grass and nice layout. Parking/camping fees are high in this area. This was a little less than most. There was a little road noise but not bad, an occasional train, which was kind of nice. There were some type of ground squirrels that popped their heads out of their hole and squeeked a warning to their buddies when they saw you coming. They were absolutely adorable! Management was friendly and laid back. We didn't use the restrooms/showers but saw several campers who did. Nice aluminum picnic table and BBQ grills. Good location close to Coeur d'Alene. I would certainly stay here again. We camped at Alpine Country Store & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Made a reservation a month ago and given the option of two spots, one on the edge and one in the middle of the park. I told the woman the quietest one so she puts us in the spot right next to the extremely noisy highway that has lots of truck traffic. The view out our front window is 7 foot weeds....guess they grow them that tall trying to hide the traffic which is right behind them. Also the internet doesn't work at all in this spot. When I called the office to complain I got a cavalier answer that some spots in the park don't have WiFi but I can walk over to some WiFi shack to use it there. She happily told me there were no other sites available and I could get a refund. I told her if I could I would but there are no other parks with availability on such short notice. Refuse to take sites 166 to 172 if you want to sleep at night. Plus these spots are a bit of a walk to their shower/restrooms....that's okay though because they aren't very clean anyway. This place must have a wicked sense of humor to call itself a resort. Sure it's pretty when you first drive in but the gravel sites (no cement pads) are short and the facilities certainly aren't worth $61.50 a day. Office girls could care less, guess they don't pay much so get the bottom of the barrel from the employment pool of this area. I'm very unhappy. Also, picnic table is old splintered wood. Go find another park. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spring Lake RV Resort, Halstead, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed the wide open spaces, the quiet, the geese by the small lakes. Place wasn't fancy but very nice and peaceful. People who worked there were real nice. We used our Passport America for a cheap one night stay and slept well in the clean country air. We didn't use any of the facilities but our site was level and not too close to anyone. Would certainly stay here again. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Miller's Kampark, Liberty, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is full of permanent residents in small, old run down campers, however the two on either side of us were very pleasant people. When we first rolled in I thought OMG are we going to be stabbed? Sites are extremely small with uneven dirt and rock surface. We never did get our RV completely level. Husband had to use extension to reach sewer. $29.95 with no discount is an outrageous amount to pay for a dump like this! Sites were so small there wasn't room to put our satellite dish out and if we would have put our awning out it may have hit the camper next to us. I would not recommend this park. As for views....there is a junkyard across the street with trees growing up through broken down tractors and rusty road equipment. We camped at Miller's Kampark in a Motorhome.

West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA, Gretna, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Only RV park in the area so they take advantage and are over priced, they stayed busy. We were packed in like sardines and our "pull through" site was in with a maze of other "pull throughs". It is an older Park with lots of long unmowed grass, grasshoppers, dusty roads and ungroomed Areas. On a positive note, they had clean restrooms, a nice playground for kids and a nice cabana for group gatherings. Sites had a nice table with four chairs, a nice fire ring and flowers. Office was so-so on friendliness. I hate to pay those kind of rates for a mediocre park. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.
