South Forty Campground, Petersburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Spent two nights here. Had a nice laundry room, but bathrooms need some fresh paint. Otherwise, very comfortable. Good Italian restaurant within walking distance. Quiet setting and easy drive to historical sites in Petersburg. Would stay here again. We camped at South Forty Campground in a Truck Camper.

Lee Highway Campground, Bristol, Virginia

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This was a pleasant surprise! V ery close to shopping, but in quiet neighborhood setting. Very clean, roomy showers and laundry room with newer front-load machines. Bathroom heaters were on a timer, which made the bathrooms a bit cold for showering. Would stay here again! We camped at Lee Highway Campground in a Truck Camper.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Located next to multiple highways and interchanges, which meant there was so much road noise that ear plugs were needed to sleep. Bathrooms and laundry room were not clean. Wireless Internet extremely slow. When I mentioned concerns to management, I received a defensive voice mail from owner. Would not recommend this RV park. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Truck Camper.
