Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here visiting family. This is a nice clean park. Staff are very nice and helpful. There are a good number of long term residence but they are aligned along the perimeter of the park and all are well kept and orderly. Sites are concrete except the perimeter sites and some of the new sites that have just been added which are gravel. There are a couple of sites that although are concrete are quite unLevel front to rear. Wi-fi is available but comes and goes. I know others use it but we don't so it does not effect my rating nor do rest rooms but I will leave comments on them. This park is a short distance off I-35 and I-44 runs along the North side of the park. There is some noise but it has never bothered us. They have a swimming pool which is well maintained and a miniature golf course. Our grandkids have spent the night with us there and there was no additional charge for them. Most sites are pull through and most utility connections are along the center line of the trailers. This is a comfortable and secure feeling park. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Roadrunner RV Resort, Red River, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Our first stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The park is rustic in nature very well maintained. Some of the sites are short on outside sitting area. Staff are very nice and helpful. Laundry is available and is kept nice and clean. We tried wi-fi although we do not use it, and it was iffy at best. We stayed in the lower section so we could have a fire. It was very quiet, even during the daytime. Most of the utility connections are on the back end of sites, some are in the middle. There are some privately owned manufactured homes in the park but they are well maintained and owners blend in with the park setting. We camped at Roadrunner RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Two gas stations in town, East end is unmanned credit card only gas & diesel, easy access for all rigs. West end has convenience store, gas & diesel but seemed like it might be harder for larger rigs to get into. Several good cafe/restaurants. Old Timers Cafe has breakfast through lunch. For day trips Taos is 45 min drive and Creede is 3 hour drive. Try Orlandos, North end of Taos for Mexican food kinda hidden right side of street.
