Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very well kept, neat and clean. This campground is next to the RV dealership. Sites are small and close together, not much shade. The are lots of immature trees that will probably provide shade in a few years, but not now. The staff here is super helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi and cable are provided, and breakfast and fast-food type lunch is provided free at the main building for registered campers. Although this is not a destination-type site, it's a good place to stop on the way to your destination. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Trail Lakes Campground, Ochopee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Seemed like a nice place. Our campsite was very spacious with lots of trees and beautiful vegetation that gave it a very private feel. We didn't see the rest of the place because we couldn't open the door without getting attacked by mosquitoes! It was all we could do to run out with the dog and run back in! No sniffing around for him! We had to spray flying insect killer inside the camper every time we opened the door. I know it's Florida, but the owners should spray once in a while. We're at another camp not far away, next to water, and there's hardly any mosquitoes. The animal exhibit behind the gift shop was great, I even got to pet a snake. Kids would love it. Our site neighbor uses this camp often, and he said mosquitoes are always there, but not always this bad. There are some permanent residents here, but everyone including staff are nice and friendly. No WiFi, even though it's advertised. We camped at Trail Lakes Campground in a Travel Trailer.
