Admiralty RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty standard park with closely spaced cement pads of sufficient length for most RVs and a small patio area with table. My site had a separate 1/2 pad to park truck. Noisy from traffic. TV reception was poor so no local news or sports channels and no cable. Tengo wifi was satisfactory but expensive. Staff was friendly. If you want to be close to Sea World this is the park for you otherwise there are better parks. We camped at Admiralty RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Caverns of Sonora RV Park, Sonora, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great stop along this stretch of I10. A few miles off of road - quiet and dark. The caverns were as good as Carlsbad - smaller, more intimate but just as enjoyable. As other reviews noted, the spaces were tight, no wifi or dump but the electricity was fine at our site, although nearby sites were not working. You don't go there for a great RV park but for the great caverns. Nice staff. We camped at Caverns of Sonora RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Caverns are by tour only. Book your cavern tour reservation when you arrive for the next morning. We missed a tour and had to wait over an hour for the next tour as they were a little short handed.

Nothing very close so stop for supplies prior to leaving I-10
