Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nice overnight with easy access to I-10, lots of nearby (within 5 mi) restaurants shopping etc. The sites are very close together, so not much room to spread out. They tend to be a tight fit so some tow/towed vehicles overhang a little, but driveways are still passable. All sites are very nice level concrete but just wide enough for the vehicle(s). With rain (which is nearly unavoidable in summer months), the grass areas get very soggy a little fill would alleviate this problem. There are a lot of longer term guests, but things are kept fairly orderly. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is still my "go to" park for traveling through the area, but it has gone down a little in the last several years. The sites are getting a little less level and equipment is not getting the attention it should like doors to the electrical service are falling off when you go to open it. The people are always friendly and the bathhouse is kept clean. I like the fact that on some of the sites there are two options for sewer hook-up. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Actually stayed here twice. First time it was a bit soggy from 4+" of rain from a tropical storm that had passed the night before, but they stayed open and everything was working. By the second visit 2 weeks later, ground was more firm but the whole park was in bad need of mowing. The whole process of reservations, check-in/out parking, etc. was smooth and efficient. The free breakfast is much like what you'd find in a decent hotel (waffles, bagels, juice, coffee, etc). The playground appears to be under repair, the pool is clean and a bit warm for my taste (like most in this part of the country). Lots of long term residents but sites are neat and the people I encountered are very friendly. The sites are nice level concrete, just wide enough for any rig, long enough for most tow or toad to stay hooked up. Close enough to town to get supplies or go out to dinner at just about any kind of restaurant. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
