Pismo State Beach - North Beach Campground, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We love this campground and drove a long way to get to it. We would normally give it five stars, and have always recommended it to our friends. First of all the staff was great. Second, the location is fantastic, great dog friendly beach. Third, very open campsites...and then it goes downhill. There was a very large population of "sketchy" people. They told us on checkin to be sure and lock up our stuff, and for the most part we did. Stepped out of the RV one morning, and a homeless looking guy was in our campsite. When we left we discovered someone had taken my cycling bag (mostly old stuff of no value, except for a pair of prescription sun glasses, my fault). Just didn't feel safe. Next week they require reservations, which should help. We camped at Pismo State Beach - North Beach Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Likely Place RV & Golf Resort, Likely, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fun place. Very fun, very un-Likely, a suprise. My wife and I only like driving about 200 miles per day. This is about that from Reno. It is a fun golf course. A great overnight stop, and set up well for groups! Clean, nice RV spaces, great desert sunset. Don't forget the eggs Benedict breakfast, they run out early. But the pancake sandwich is good... We camped at Likely Place RV & Golf Resort in a Truck Camper.

Columbia Riverfront RV Park, Woodland, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place! We were looking for a nice place on the Columbia river, without being in the city. This is it. The staff was very cordial (maybe they read some of the reviews). The grounds are spotless (due to a lot of rules). Some dog breeds are not accepted. Our spot overlooked the river with shipping, etc. WiFi worked great. No freeway noise. Excellent, we would stay here again... We camped at Columbia Riverfront RV Park in a Truck Camper.
