Beachside RV Park, Blaine, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after sunset, and it looked like we were having a favour for letting us in, so late. We didn't use the facilities and left early next morning. It was very close to the sea, which was nice, but a little bit cramped. We camped at Beachside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside Resort, Whistler, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We read some reviews about this place, regarding the price. It is not the cheapest we visited, BUT! I much rather pay 10 more bucks for a place like this, than to save that and have a lousy shower, for instance.

This is a PROFESIONAL run place with clean facilities, friendly staff, and very close to the hot spot in Whistler. Definitely a good choice for a stay. We camped at Riverside Resort in a Motorhome.

There is plenty to do around in Whistler. Plenty. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking, good restaurants, lots of shops, etc etc...

Thunderbird RV Park, Campbell River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We are traveling through Canada and USA for two months. We have seen and will see many RV parks. This one is, so far, the best value for money we have encountered. The plots are quite large, but the highlight was that the restrooms and the laundry where the cleanest we have come across.

They charge extra for shower time and laundry, but you get a rather clean facilities and a big laundry room, heated, clean, with machines where to buy soap and softener if you have to.

The staff at the reception where very friendly and helpful and stay until 19:30 even though it was off season. We camped at Thunderbird RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a shopping mall less than 10 minutes walk and a beautiful natives handicraft store. The city lies about 20 minutes away on foot. Is not far.

Crystal Cove Resort and RV Park, Tofino, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The park is actually very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but... We expected a little bit more out of the so-far-more-expensive-park we had visited during the last week in BC. Nice facilities, but it was pitch black in the evening through the pathways. Then, the toilets were clean and taken care of, but not up to the standard of that price range. We had seen better with a cheaper price. The laundry room was a bit "tired". Instead of a "lost & found" box full of forgotten socks, i would suggest to place a small book shelf with paperbacks or alike.

But , it is very close to Tofino and as i said, the staff at the reception were great. We camped at Crystal Cove Resort and RV Park in a Motorhome.
