Lazy R Campground, Ranchester, Wyoming

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The manager was very nice. The location is in town, but ok. A bit run down. You must like trains if you stay here. 24 hours a day! Didn't bother me that much. However, my issue came from whoever it is that is the caretaker of the park. My second night there I lost my water. It was on the cold side so I switched to the tank. Next day, still no water. Cable is $2 a day. I have satellite radio so wasn't sure I'd use it. Initially I hooked it up and did a 30min channel scan, didn't watch it again until I wanted to see the presidential debate... Turned it on only to find no cable. I had told the manger I would pay the cable if I used it. The next morning I went out to see what was wrong with the water situation. I found the water had been turned off and the cable unconnected! I left a message for the manager to give me a call, never received a response. Nice town, but this really downed my stay :o( We camped at Lazy R Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Osens RV Park & Campground, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I spent a week at Osens. A very nice park especially considering it's within the confines of Livingston- It didn't seem that way. The site (b2) was spacious and open, gravel and grass with a picnic table. The owners are both good people. Very nice and helpful. They gave me a good lead on a repair shop. A lot of rules? I guess, but sometimes that makes for a better stay for all. I slept well every night. Kind of got use to the trains in the distance during the night.

I plan on staying again. My only complaint would be that I feel for a weekly rate, during the off season of $250 (with tax) is too high. We camped at Osens RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
