Baby Nugget RV Park, Watson Lake, Yukon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly person at check-in. WiFi extremely slow and only available at the office. Water and electric hookup, pull through sites long but not level. Sani Dump located along interior road to exit.

Off the Alaska Highway enough to reduce sound. Located 15 miles north of Watson Lake just past the junction with the Cassiar Highway. Diesel was $.20 US higher than Watson Lake. Restaurant very expensive. Proprietors are opportunistic. Would not stay at this location again. We camped at Baby Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Assigned Site 1 which is a large gravel, pull-through with full hookups including 50 amp service. We had a reservation which facilitated a quick check-in by delightful staff who also offered information about the surrounding area. Park is in a quiet location with convenient access to I-40. Free WiFi worked well. Office is open until 8:00pm in the evening. Note: site 1 and 2 share a pedestal for 50 amp service. 30 amp service also available at the site. Restrooms and laundry were very clean, however, we did not use the laundry. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great location to stay while visiting the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks. Downtown Holbrook has the historic Route 66 feel. Easy access to the Maverick Fuel Station near I-40 exit and entrance. Well laid out for large rigs with tow vehicle connected. Immediate area has many restaurants both fast food and dine-in available.

Fairgrounds RV Park, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Our back-in space was large, 50' deep x 45' wide, with full hookups. Park has paved roads with gravel parking spots. Location is midway between Prescott, AZ and Jerome, AZ. 54 cable TV channels are included. We did not try the free WiFi available in the activities center. Our Verizon MiFi work well. Although there are many monthly residents, we found the park and surrounding area to be quiet. Managers and staff are great! Great value for the price. We camped at Fairgrounds RV Park in a Motorhome.
